NOTHING CAN BE LOVED OR HATED
UNLESS IT IS FIRST
UNDERSTOOD
Leonardo De Vinci

She
The moon plays it's beams over her face
She is immortal, powerful,
she will always be.
She watches the village where she will hunt
Where she claims the lives of the innocent
She always will
The villagers cry and scream for her death,
but she lurks above,
safe from them
It's such a shame that they don't realize,
her true beauty is found within
They see the monster and run.
The light of the moon is dimmed by a cloud,
and she makes her deadly strike.
One less life to laugh and play
One less life to cry
One less life to live, one more life has died.
She slinks away in the shadows,
the villagers mourn their dead
And as she sits in the shadows, a silent tear is shed.
She wishes she could free herself from her curse,
melt the ice that locks her heart,
but it will never be.

YOU HAVE FOUND BOTH
THE SOFTNESS OF MY PETALS
AND THE THORNS OF MY SOUL

PHANTOM LOVER
Window open. Curtains blowing.
You lie sleeping in your bed.
Satin pillow 'neath your head.
Raven-stranded silken tendrils
Reach like love across the sheets
In a sanguine sea of sunset
For a Heart that never beats.
I stand watching like a shadow,
Lurking in our lacy dreams
Like a Darkness All-comsuming,
Stroking all your hidden seams.
Rosy lips are slightly parted,
Calling mine to taste their flame.
Hungry softness wet with yearning,
Whispering a Phantom's name.
Every breath is filled with longing.
Every sigh is dry with thirst.
I will drink you slowly, sweetly,
While you lie in dreams immersed.
"SHE LIVES BEYOND THE GRACE OF GOD
A WANDERER IN THE OUTER DARKNESS
SHE IS A VAMPYR NOSEFERATU"
