They're into travelling , making music & meeting people , which is handy cos at the moment 'N SYNC are whizzing all over the place doing all that being-in-a-band stuff .
TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF . :
Lance : I'm 18 , I was born in Laurel Mississippi but now live in Orlando , Florida with my mum & dad , a mile away from the other guys . I have a sister called Stacy who's 21 . The guys call me "Scoop" cos when they ask me about our itinerary I always know !
Justin : I was born in 1981 which makes me 16 - the youngest ! I'm originally from Memphis but right now I share a house with Chris , JC & my mum in Orlando .
Joey : I'm 20 years old & was born in Brooklyn , New York . I moved to Orlando 6 years ago with my parents & brother Steve who's 22 . My sister Janine is 24 but lives on her own .
Chris : I'm Scottish , Irish , Indian , Spanish & erm , I think that's it . I was born in Pennysylavania but now live in Orlando . I'm 25 & the eldest - & most hyper - member; I need lots of calming down !
JC : My real name's Joshua Chasez & I'm 20 years old . I'm originally from Washington DC but now live in Orlando with two of the band .
LIKES & DISLIKES :
Lance : I love the beach . In fact I'm the biggest beach bum & have the legs to prove it - my hairs are bleacjed blond ! But I like the more adventurous stuff like rock-climbing & skydiving . I'm not into rap , people who pre-judge you & mushrooms !
Justin : I love basketball & whenever I have the chance I play like crazy > I'm also a bit of a shopacholic & collect North Carolina basketball gear . I hate snakes , fake people & my curly hair !
Joey : I love Superman memorabilia & collect the t-shirts , jewellery - anything & everything . I also love dancing & going to clubs . The thing I hate most is fake people , enough said . Oh , & apart from skating , I'm useless at sports .
Chris : I like beaches & live near one . I love writing & listening to music so I've invested in a laptop to make life easier . I have a really short attention span so things tend to bore me easily , which I hate .
JC : I'm into singing , dancing & writing music . I love the movies & anything that keeps me fir , especially in-line skating - we do it all the time . I really can't stand liars
BIGGEST MUSICAL INFLUENCE :
Lance : Garth Brooks . I'm not really into country & western & I don't own a hat or boots but he's just a really interesting guy . His shows are wonderful .
Justin: Stevei Wonder , he's incredible .
Joey: My dad . He used to sing in a group called the Orions . They weren't famous but they were great . He listened to a lot of older , 50s music & that's what first influenced me .
Chris: I'd have to say it was the rest of the band . I know how hard they work & their reasons for doin' it , I just think they're incredible . Michael Jackson is my most famous influence though .
JC : I really like Sting & Seal , they're brilliant writers .
BEST THING ABOUT BEING IN A BAND :
Lance: Being onstage & performing . Seeing all those people & watching them enjoying & reacting to our music .
Justin : Being able to make music , meet people & travel .
Joey : The travel definitely . I love visiting different places & London is just great . There's a real buzz about the city .
Chris : Seeing my musical ideas come to life & meeting new people in new places .
JC : The friendship - having people around you so you're never lonely .
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE ?:
Lance : I've had girlfriends but afterwards realised it wsn't love .
Justin :No . I've been infatuated & had a few crushes . I'm not waiting for it to happen but I won't run away from it when it does !
Joey : I've had really strong feelings for a girl called Dinay but it wasn't love . We went out for abour 4 months at high school . She left to go to college & that was the end of it .
Chris : Oh yeah , I've fallen in love twice . The last time was with a girl called Catherine . It lasted 3 months & was my longest relationship .
JC: I was pretty close once but I was only 15 & so was she . Her name was Francy . She was a beautiful girl inside & out but it was only a teenage thing . We left each other because I had to move away . Aw , it was so sad .
WHO WOULD YOU HAVE A ONE-TO-ONE WITH ? :
Lance : Probably Shakespeare . I'd want to know if he really wrote that stuff & if he actually thought his writing was as great as it is .
Justin : Michael Jordan , my idol & one of the biggest achievers . I'd start off by asking him why he quit basketball & well , we'd just carry on from there .
Joey : William Shakespeare - he was brilliant . I'd like to know what he was thinking about when he came up with the plays .
Chris : Mozart . He was a genius . I'd like to know how he thought & where he drew his inspiration from .
JC : Jesus Christ . It doesn't come any more huge than that .
