The Day Starts here……….

It's 11am in the morning and there are 10 hours to go before 911 explode on stage.
After a hearty breakfast the guys head to the venue for rehearsals. As they leave the hotel they are met by a crowd of excited fans who have been waiting up all night to get a glimpse of their idols.
Jimmy goes over to all the fans and starts chatting away to them. Some fans talk to him like they're old friends and others just stare at him! "It's always funny meeting new fans cos they're not always sure how to react and some don't speak at all! We don't bite you know!"
Spike's down next and all he wants to do is talk football to anyone that'll pay attention long enough. Some things never change.
Then along comes Lee complete with his now infamous wooly hat. He's a bit miffed because as usual he's lost his mobile phone "I don't know what I've done with it" What he doesn't know is that Jimmy, being the organised person that he is, has picked it up and intends to give it back to Lee once he's suitably worried about it! That'll teach him.
After much chatting,signing and snogs galore, the guys are whisked off in their tour bus to the venue for a soundcheck. Now this is no ordinary bus……..it's got all the essentials you need for life on the road and for the next few weeks it's Lee Spike and Jimmy's home!.
On board the bus there's a TV, CD player, a kettle for Jimmy's endless cups of tea and a well stocked fridge full of……..milk of course! The tour caterers are too good to these guys making sure their munchies will be well taken care of 24 hours a day. It's heaven on Earth.

At rehearsals………..
At the venue it's soundcheck time. This is the time to get everything ready for the show ahead. Are they nervous about their performance? "were not nervous at all, that's what rehearsals are for" says an excited Lee.
As Jimmy practices his vocals Lee watches on from the audience. "It sounds cool. Makes a change me being out here!"
As well as all the seriousness of the soundcheck there's a fair amount of carrying on going on as the guys have a laugh with the amazing 911 band.
With rehearsals all clear, the boys wander off to make cups of tea and call their mates.
When they return to the dressing room there's a huge bunch of flowers waiting for them sent by a fan to wish them luck for the show that night "It's always nich to get pressies from fans" says Lee
Now the soundcheck is complete it's time for promo work. This involves the guys meeting with all important media who'll be covering the show that night and includes everyone from the local radio station to TV's like 'The Big Breakfast.
"It can be quite exhausting doing loads of interviews but we usually just wind everyone up and have a carry on" laughs Spike.
Whenever the guys aren't needed for promo and soundchecks they can be found in the artists lounge chillin' with the 911 band and the rest of the tour crew.
It's dinner time and Jimmy has decided that the only way to keep up with the pace of the touring schedule is to eat healthily so he has decided to become a vegetarian. "I'm trying to convince Spike that he should eat more healthily cos all he eats is chips, eggs and beans but he's not having any of it!"
Now they've been fed and watered, it's time to relax backstage before the show begins.

Backstage……………….
If you stand outside 911's dressing room you can just make out the guys warming up for the show ahead. They're performing an impromptu concert in their dressing room - you can hear them belting out tunes just making sure that everything is perfect for their show tonight. The perfectionists!!
For Spike this is chill out time as he plays his playstation and eats his regular diet of chips, eggs and beans. "the playstation is the best way to relax and anyway I'm beating Jimmy at Fifa football at the moment"

Lee's been reunited with his missing mobile phone and is talking to his family about the night ahead and Jimmy is chatting to the 911 band.

It's time to get washed and dressed and as usual Spike is the last to get ready - "I'm playing the playstation don't interrupt me I'm a man at work!"
With only minutes to go before they go on stage 911 still look relaxed. It's unnatural really!

The Show……………..
The minutes count down to the start of the shw, the atmosphere is electric.
Stage right, Jimmy's warming up, Lee's focused on the show ahead and Spike's busy slagging off everyone's footie team but Manchester United!.

Seconds later…….. 911 explode on stage

The show is amazing and 911 captive their audience. As you'd expect from 911 there's plenty of jokes, amazing dance routines, fantastic costume changes and brilliant special effects. It's done at such a crackin' pace you've almost got to catch your breath to keep up with them.
