Chapter 28

Kevin put Amanda down, and she walked over to Manda. They two were laughin hysterically. The guys just looked at them. "That wasn't very funny you two..." Nick started. "Oh man, yes it was. You should have seen your faces..." Manda replied, still laughing. Nick and the others just looked at them with disapointed looks. "Oh come on. We were just getting back at you guys for freaking us out yesterday. We were just kidding around," Amanda said, trying to hold in her laughter. "Fine, but don't do it again. You scared us half to death..." Nick replied. "Promise." Amanda said, hugging him around his waist. "You have to admit it, Manda is a pretty good actress..." Manda clung to Brian, "I don't know, but I'm scared..." she joked, whimpering. "See, told you I was Ginger..." Everyone laughed.

"Let's head back. My dad's going to wonder if we got lost..." Nick said. So everyone pilled back to the boat, checking to make sure the fire was completely out, then headed back to Nick's.

When they got back, everyone decided that it was best to just go home for the night. Nick had to stay home, so everyone said their good byes.

"Bye Nick..." Amanda said. "Bye sweetie... I'm going to mis you..." Nick said, holding her close. "Me too." They both stood there, smiling at each other.

"Amanda! Hurry up! I'd like to get home sometime this year!" Manda called out.

"Better go, or Manda's going to have my head." "Okay, see you tomorrow?" "Yeah, until then." She kissed him goodbye, and ran to her jeep, hoping in the drivers seat.

"Thank you for finally deciding to show up... Now, can we go home. I'm getting really tierd." Manda whined. Manda rolled her eyes at Manda. She was sitting in the backseat, leaning her head on Brian's shoulder. In a matter of minutes, Manda was asleep. Brian made sure she wasn't half asleep like last time, and then went on to talk to Amanda.

"Um, Amanda?" "Yeah?" "Uh, see, I've been thinking about this a lot, and I'd like some advice, and seemings as you are the only one who knows Manda, I figuared you're my best bet." "Okay, ask away." "Well, earlier today, at Nick's house in the backyard, the guys were sorta teasing me 'bout Manda, and saying how I've fallen madly in love with her, and stuff like that. And well, I've been thinking about it a lot since then, I know, it's only been a few hours, but still... And I think that maybe I do, but I'm not sure yet, but what I'm trying to get at is this. Should I tell Manda?" Amanda was still trying to take everything in. "Well, maybe you should. Manda's never really ever been in a relationship, so I really don't know how she'd take it. I say go for it. What's there to lose?" "Thanks..." Brian said. AManda looked in her rear-view mirror, and saw Brian stroaking MAnda's hair, staring at her like she was the only thing there.

Amanda thought to herself, about Nick. 'He's the sweetest guy I've ever met. He's so much nicer than any guy I've been with. He just, he's wonderful...' Amanda pulled into the drive way of their house half an hour later, and got out of the jeep. "Brian, do you mind bringing her up to her room?" "Not at all." Brian carried Manda up to her, and put her in bed. He then went to Amanda's room. "Here, these are the pictures from today, one for you, one for Manda." He handed her two of the four photos, and kiss-kissed her goodnight.

Amanda looked at the pictures, and sat on her bed. She smiled, and placed them on her bureau. She headed straight into her bed, and fell asleep.
