-=-=-=-=- Unoffical Mutiplayer/Server FAQ v1.3 by Magus -=-=-=-=-

Q: What is a mutiplayer "Server" game?
A: A Mutiplayer Server is a online game where players can log
into a Server and play Rage of Mages together.

Q: What can you DO in a server game?
A: First you make your charter that you want to play as online. Once you connect
you can adventure around killing monsters, meeting other players, ect. If you are in a
group of Strong players you can adventure deep into mountains, and other far off places,
fighting large camps of monsters, and monster villages. There is also a alliance feature for
online play that enables you to make Teams/Guilds, you can ally with other guilds or go to
war with them

Q: Can I kill other players, and steal there stuff?
A: Yes, you can attack and kill other players, and once they die every thing they were
wearing, will fall to the ground into a sack, just like when you kill a monster. They do not drop any thing that was in there Inventory (ie gold, potions ect.)

Q: how do I buy items in mutiplayer?
A: Unlike the normal mission based game, online the shops are already in the map, in towns.
To enter a shop, find a building that is called "Shop" and click on it, you will be able to
buy and sell items. Instead of just being able to destroy buildings, now you can interact with them.

Q: What kinds of "interactive" buildings are there on servers?
A: Weapons/Armor/Items Shops, Churches, and Fountains.

Q: How are the monsters on servers?
A: Around towns, monsters are easy. the farther you adventure from the towns, the harder the monsters get. And they can get really hard! I have seen Dragon and Rock Troll camps/towns! There are also evil human villages, containing evil mages, axemen, swordsmen, ect. The idea is, the farther you adventure, the harder the monsters and more and better gold & items

Q: Is it easy to take over a monster/human town?
A: It really depends on the monsters, but most of the monster towns have lots of guys and are made to be hard. This way it makes it so you have to work together with other players to kill off a whole camp/town.

Q: What happens when all the monsters are killed? Will the game end?
A: There is no way to kill off the monsters for good because they respwan,
and no, the game never ends.

Q: How big is a mutiplayer map, and will there be more maps then just the ones that come with the game?
A: Mutiplayer maps vary in size, they can range from 64x64 to a whooping 240x240.
Players will also be able to map there own mutiplayer maps, and play them on there servers via, the ROM map editor (not sure what english map editor's name yet)
