Test Mode
In the options screen, put the cursor next to the word Done, then press Left Down Left Right Down Right Left Down Left Right Down Right, the words Test Mode should appear over the word Done.
Random Character Select
At Character Select screen hold Up and press Start, the computer will select a character for you.

Battle Mode
At start screen press the L and R buttons with Start at the same time.
