CAROLINE

Brian: "I can't believe you'd go so low just to get back at me."

Amanda: "I didn't do anything. I'm not the one who cheated, you are!"

Brian: "Are you going to bring this up in my face all the time? I thought we moved pass this."

Amanda: "No, you moved pass this. I thought I did, but now I realize I didn't! And it makes me sick to think that I gave myself to you."

Brian: (looking stunned) "How can you even think that?"

Amanda: "I better go, I have to meet Rick."

Brian: "Amanda, if I ever meant something to you, anything, than don't go."

Amanda looked at him for a few minutes and then walked out the door, just as Kevin walked in.

Kev: "Oh no, did she leave you?"

Brian: "Shut up, Kevin."

Kevin: "You deserve everything you get!"

Brian: "You know something, you can be mad at me as long as you like, but you'd be stupid to let a girl like Caroline get away."

Kev: "Yeah, I'd be stupid not to break up with a girl who kisses othey guys."

Brian: "She was vulnerable, it was a mistake and she's been locked up in her room crying her eyes because of it."

Kev: "You think I care?"

Brian: "Don't lie, not to me. I know you too well. You'd be lying if you said you didn't care, I know you're hurting but so is she. Just talk to her, how many times did she forgive your mistakes?"

Kev: "Brian, be honest was that the first time you kissed her?"

Brian: "Of course and it's also the last."

Kev: "And you have no feelings for her?"

Brian: "No, not in that way. I mean sure she's hot but so are Christine, Lis and Cassie and I don't have feelings for them either."

Kev: "I gotta go think."

Brian: "Where are you going?"

Kev: "To the graveyard, I gotta talk to my dad." And with that he left, leaving Brian's thought to what Amanda and Rick were doing.

Caro and Chris were sitting on the dock.

Chris: "I don't know what to do anyore. I mean I know I love AJ but then I have these feelings for Tony, and I'm still not sure what they are."

Caro: "I know exactly what you mean. Here I have this huge fight with Kevin and then comes Steph, ready to make everything ok again. and it would be so easy to just go with him and forget all about Kevin but-"

Chris: "You can't and neither can I. We have to keep reminding ourselves that there is a reason we broke up with Steph and Tony and there's also a good reason why we're so in love with Kevin and AJ."

Caro: "That's a lot easier said then done."

Chris: "Tell me abou it. If i'm so in love with AJ then what are these feelings I have for Tony?"

Caro: "And what are the ones I have for Steph?"

Chris: "I don't know, but only we both know that this conversation remains between us two, right?"

Caro: "Right." And with that they pinky swore.

Back at he house, Lisa and Nick were watching TV when the phone rang. Nick got up and went to answer it.

Nick: Hello...Oh, hi mom, how are you...I'm doing good and the guys also....What? Oh my God....Right now?...Well, I guess so..Alright, I'll be there...What time....Shit, that's soon...Alright, I better get packing...Yeah, don't worry, bye mom."

Lis: "Nick, you're so pair. What's wrong?"

Nick: "My dad, he um, had a heart attack."

Lis: "What? Oh my God, well is he ok?"

Nick: "It's not to serious but he's in the hospital, I gotta go see him."

Lis: "Sure, of course. When are you leaving?"

Nick: "The plane leaves in two hours."

Lis: "2 hours, well get moving."

Nick: "Are you sure? I hate leaving you like this, how's you knee?"

Lis: "Don't even think of me, I'm fine. I swear."

Nick: "Ok, I'm going to go pack a few things." He left to go to his room.

As Lisa watched Nick leave, she thought to herself, what if he goes and realizes how much he misses everyone and doesn't come back. No that won't happen, Nick loves me more doesn't he? Lisa opened her bottle of pills and then swallowed five of them. It's for the pain, she told herself.

AMANDA

Amanda met Rick at the Much Music building.

Rick: "Hi. Let's go." They went for a drive, Amanda and Rick decided that there was no where to go and eat, so they went to Rick's house. Rick and Amanda ate lunch, then they went to his living room to talk. They sat on his couch.

Rick: "So why'd you call?"

Amanda: "Well, I needed to see you. Brian, argh, what an asshole. He's so dumb."

Rick: "What did he do?"

Amanda: "Well, he sort of kissed one of my good friends."

Rick: "You know, I'd never do that to my girl." He moved closer to her to kiss Amanda's neck. As they indulged in each other's embrace, Amanda couldn't help but think of Brian.

AN- We mean to disrepect in any way to Cassie's mom, who unfortuatly passed away a bit after we wrote this story, nor to Kevin's dad who's mentionned a bit later, may they both rest in peace)

Christine and Caroline got up and headed home. When they got home, they heard sobs comming from Cassie's room.

Caro: "I'll go see what's up?" Caro walked up to Cassie's room, she tapped on the door and walked in. Cassie was lying on her bed crying.

Caro: "Hey, why are you crying? You're suposse to be happy."

Cassie: "Happy? How can I be happy? My husband to be is mad because I won't tell my parents about your engagement."

Caro: "You mean you didn't tell them."

Cassie: "They expect so much from me, to be responsable, to make the right choices. How do I know that they will accept this choice?"

Caro: "There's only one way to find out." Caroline passed the phone to Cassie, a look of distress came over Cassie's face. Caroline nugged the phone closer to Cassie. Hesitantly, Cassie picked it up and dialed her number.

Caro: "I'll leave you to yourself." Caroline left the room. Cassie was shaking. Someone picked up. "Hello."

Cassie: "Hi mom, it's me, Cassie."

Mom: "Oh hi, how are you? You haven't called in ages."

Cassie: "Mom, brace yourself. I have a few major things to tell you."

Mom: "Go ahead."

Cassie: "Just of all I met someone. His name is Howard Dorough."

Mom: "I have to meet him, how is he?"

Cassie: "He's great. Moving along. I'm, well, I'm sorta pregnant."

Mom: "What? You met this guy and now you're pregnant?"

Cassie: "That's not it."

Mom: "There's more?"

Cassie: "Yeah, me and Howie are engaged."

Mom: "Oh Cassie. What did we do to make you go the wrong way? You're only 17. You don't know anything yet, you have your whole life in front of you. Why ruin it now?"

Cassie: "Mom, I din't call for your concent. I just called to tell you, I though that you would like to meet him or something. Oh never mind."

Mom: "Okay, Cassie. I'll calm down, bring him over. We'll see after that."

Cassie: "Thanks mom, believe me, you'll love him."

Mom: "I hope so, well I'll be seeing you."

Cassie: "Kay, bye."

Mom: "Bye."

Cassie hung up the phone and she felt like she could take on anything. She got up, left the room, then she remembered, Howie was mad at her. She got the guts and she waked to Howie's room, she knocked on his door.

In the grave yard...

Kevin: (talking to his father's headstone) "Dad, I got a big problem. I'm madly in love with Caroline, she sort of kissed Brian. They both say say it mean tnothing nothing, but I don't know. I'm so confused. I really do love her. So much, I just can't explain how much, I need your help. Why aren't you here for me?!" Kev plopped down next to the head stone, he began to cry and leaned on the head stone.

Kev: "I miss you so much, dad. I wish you were here now. You'd be able to see everything." He got up and wiped his eyes. He placed some flowers by the grave.

Kev: "I love you dad." He turned around and walked home.

Christine went upstairs to see Lisa. She knocked on the door.

Chris: "Lisa, can I come in?" There was no answer. "Lisa?" Still no answer, Chris opened the door. "Oh my God!!" Lisa was lying on her bed, not moving. Next to her palm was an open bottle of pills, there was one pill left in the bottle.

Chris: "You guys help!" Christine yelled for the others and then she ran next to Loisa, she checked for a pulse. Good still there.

Chris: "Lisa, please hold on." The others ran into the room.

Brain: "What's wrong?"

Chris: "It's Liss, she must have taken too many pills, she's not moving."

AJ: "We got to get her to a hospital." Aj picked her up and they headed for the car.

Chris: "I think that only me and AJ should go, toomany is a crowd."

Cassie: "Okay, but call us when you find out somehting." AJj put Lisa in the backseat with Christine, he drove off.

Chris: "Hurry, AJ, please."

Amanda got a lift home from Rick. She got out of the car.

Rick: "I'll call you sometime?"

Amanda: "How about I call you?"

Rick: "Sure." He drove off. Amanda stared at the house, she couldn't go in, she was afraid, she saw Brian look through the window at her. She turned and headed for the docks.

Nick came walking up the stairs with his bags in his hands.

Nick: "What was all th erucus about before?"

Brian: "You din't hear? Lisa got rushed to the hospital. She must have had an overdose of pills."

Nick: "What? No way? Everyone I care for is getting hurt."

Brian: "What do you mean?"

Nick: "You don't know? My dad had a heart attack, I'm going home to see him now."

Brian: "What about Lisa?"

Nick: "My dad needs me now."

Brian: "So does Lisa."

Nick: "Don't get mad at me! I'd be with Lisa if I could! But I can't, not now." And with that, Nick stomped out of the house and went to the airport.

Howie: "Come in."

Cassie: "Hi Howie, it's me."

Howie: "Oh, what do you want?" He sounded very depressed.

Cassie: "I called my mom and told her EVERYHTING."

Howie: "Everything?"

Cassie: "Yup, she wants to meet you. She wants to see you the young man that is soon to be my husband."

Howie: "Is this true?" He looked straight into Cassie's eyes. They seemed to glimer with happiness.

Cassie: "Sure is, all of it." Howie went over and hugged Cassie.

Howie: "I'm so glad that you told them. Now everything will be perfect." That sentence, everything will be perfect. It stayed in Cassie's mind, she sure hoped that it would be perfect.

Ken came in the door, he felt very confident. He walked straight to the kitchen where Caro was sitting, he sat down next to her without saying a single word. He put his hands on hers. Shw looked into his deep brown eyes, a tear rolled down her face. She knew what he had come to say, he didn't even have to say a thing.

Caro: "Thank you." That was all she able to say.

AJj and Chris got to the hospital, they rushed Lisa in and the doctors took her away. They said to wait for her in the waiting room. They say there in silence, then AJ began to talk.

AJj: "Chris, I'm sorry for the way I acted."

Chris: "Save it, AJ. I'm going through a lot now."

AJ: "Let me help."

Chris: "You can't, all these things are flying through my head, these feelings, love, hate, death, my feelings for you, for Anth-" She stopped herself before she said his name, but it was too late.

AJ: "You still have feeling for him?"

Chris: "AJ, I'm so confused now, I don't know, honest."

AJ: "So, I'm some toy?"

Chris: "No! I never said that."

AJ: "Do you love me?"

Chris: "Yes, of course I do,"

AJ: "Do you love Anthony? " Chris didn't answer, she just looked away.

AJ: "Just great, my own girlfriend is still in love with her ex. I have to go, here are the keys to the car." He tossed them to her and walked out the door. Chris looked at her lap the whole time.

Chris; "Why did I even open my big mouth?"

Amanda sat on the dock in solitude, she looked on the water, she felt dirty. She didn't love Rick, she loved Brian. But she went away and broke the fidelity between them.

Amanda; "What am I to do? I don't want to go back to the house, but I have to face my fears. What am I to do?" She ploped her head oon her knees, she sat and pondered then she heard a voice of an old friend.

"Hey Amanda? Long time no see!"

Brian sat on a couch in the den. He was channel surfing when he hit Much Music, Rick the Temp was on.

Brian: "You're such a bastard, you're the reason Amanda left me. I should kill you." He flicked off the television, he left the house and got in his car and drove off.

LISA

Caroline fell into Kevin’s arms and realized that she had never felt so stongly for someone until then

Kev: “I hate to let you go but go and get ready cause I’m going to take you somewhere really special.”

Caro: “Ok.” She got up and wiped her face. “Thank you onces again.” She leaned over and gave him a quick kiss before she ran upstairs.

Kev: “Thanks Dad.” He smiled to himself.

Brian drove up to the MuchMusic building and stormed through the door. He marched up to Rick who was in the middle of doing the daily RSVP’s.

Brian: “What the hell are you trying to pull Rick?”

Rick: “Um and now a surprise interview with Brian from the Backstreet Boys.”

Brian: “Shut the fuck up, what do you think you’re doing trying to get with my girl?”

Rick: “Um, I think we’ll go to the commercials now…”

Brian: “Answer the question Rick.” He gave him a shove.

Rick: “Get us off the air.”

Brian: “Amanda’s mine and you know it, she loves me and not you…” He wsa cut off by Rick.

Rick: “Is she loved you she wouldn’t have come crying to me, you’re probably the same in bed.”

Brian jumped at him and they fell to the floor kicking and punching each other.

The Doctor walked to where Chrstine was waiting.

DR: “You can go see your friend now, she’s still sleeping but she’s ok.”

Chris: “Well, how is she? What did you do? What happened?”

DR: “Calm down miss, she took an overdose of pills and we had to pump it out of her, she will be fine in a couple of days.”

Chris: “Thank you doctor.” With that she walked into the room and sat down next to Lisa’s bed. “I’m so glad your ok, I’m never going to let this happen to you ever again, oh Lisa…”

Amanda looked up and saw Jenn and her big smile.

Amanda: “Jenn! What are you doing here?” She got up and gave her a big hug.

Jenn: “Oh my God, it’s been so long, I’ve missed you guys.”

Amanda: “Who are you staying with?”

Jenn: “I’m staying with family for a couple of weeks and I just had to see you guys.” She looked into Amanda eyes and noticed that she had been crying. “Amanda, what’s wrong?”

Amanda: “It’s a long story, why don’t we go inside and I’ll tell you all about it while watching the Daily RSVP’s ok?”

Jenn: “Sure.” They walked into the house.

Cassie fidgeted all the way to her house, she was so anxious and nervous. Wha was her mom going to think of Howie? Would she ask her to have am abortion?

Howie: “Cassie, you can get out of the car now.”

Cassie: “I’m sorry, I was just caught up in my thoughts, that’s all.” She got out of the car and took his hand. They walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell, Cassie’s mom answered it.

Mom: “Cassie, sweetheart.” She gave her a hug “Oh now I’ve missed you.”

Howie stood at the door looking uncomfortable.

Mom: “And this must be the famous Howard Dorough, come in.” Cassie and Howie stood there as Cassie introduced her family when suddendly she stopped short when she saw Greg (AN- That’s her cousin) walk out from the kitchen.

There was a knock at Caroline’s bedroom door.

Caro: “Come in.” She was looking at hersef in th emirror when Kevin walked in the room, came up behind her and whispered in her ear.

Kevin: “Hey sexy, don’t you look beautiful.” He kissed her neck.

Caro: “Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself.” She turned around and gazed into his eyes and smiled.

Kev: “You ready?”

Caro: “Yup, let’s go.”

He took her out to an expensive restaurant and then for a romatic walk on the beach. Just as the sun was setting Kevin took Caroline in his arms.

Kev: “I love you Caroline.”

Caro: “I know, and I love you.” They gazed at each other for a couple of seconds and then became engulfed with each others warm embrace.

Amanda sat down on the couch next to Jenn and turned on the TV.

Jenn: “I’m listening.”

Amanda: “Well it all started when…” She lookled at the TV and started screaming. “Come on Jenn, we’re going for a ride.” She grabbed Jenn’s hand and dragged her to the car and then she drove them downtown.

*** Chris: “And AJ knows that I still have feelings for Tony and I don’t know if I still love him and…” Christine knew that Lisa couldn’t hear her but it felt good to let her problems out and then Lisa moved her hand and slowly opened her eyes.

Lisa: “Where’s Nick?” I want Nick.” She started to cry.

Chris: “Sshh, it’s ok. Lisa everything is going to be fine, I’m here for you.”

Lisa: “But I want Nick…”Her sobs continued at that moment AJ walked thru the door.

Greg walked up to Cassie and Howie.

Cassie: “Oh boy, here we go.”

Greg: “Cassie, how are you.” He gave her a quick hug. “And who the hell is this?”

Cassie: “This is Howier, my fiancee.”

Howie: “Nice to meet you.” He stuck out his hand.

Greg: “That’s ok.” He looked at Cassie in disgust.

Cassie: “Excuse me Howie. I have to have a little talk with my cousin.”

Caroline pulled away from Kevin’s embrace.

Caro: “You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I love you.”

Kev: “And you for me, why don’t we go home and take the action upst…never mind.” He looked away from Caroline.

Caro: “What?’

Kev: “Well last time we had this conversation you said that you still weren’t ready and I don’t want to pressure you”

Caro: “I think that I might have changed my mind.” She smiled at him mischeviously. “I’ve missed you.”

Amanda stormed through the MuchMusic doors and right up to Brian and Rick who were still exchanging nasty words.

Amanda: “What the fuck do you two think you’re doing? I do not belong to either of you.” She turned towards Brian “Especially you, who do you think you are? Waltzing in here like that and claiming me, I thought you would be the understanding one.”

Rick: “Geez, thanks.”

Amanda: “Can it! I don’t want to hear either of you, you totally embarassed me in front of millions of people and I don’t think I want to see either of you again.”

Brian: “Oh Amanda, I’m so sor-“ Amanda: “Save it.” And with that sh eturned and walked out of the studio, Jenn quietly followed quietly behind her.

Brian: “You ruined the best thing in my life, you’re going to pay you bastard.”

Rick: “At least I got all I wanted out of her.”

AJ: “Hey babe, how are ya feeling?” He walked over to Liss’s side and gave her a hug.

Lisa: “I’m Ok, I guess but my knees are killing me not to mention my head and I want Nick.”

AJ: “Don’t worry, I’m sure he’ll be here, by the way where is he?”

Chris: “I don’t know last time I saw him he was with you, Lisa.”

Lisa: “I don’t know where he is, but I need him.” She started to cry again.

AJ: “Don’t cry, you’re not pretty when you cry.”

Chris: “AJ when you’re finished talking to Lisa do you think I could have a word with you?”

AJ: “Sure. I’ll be right back Lisa.” With that he kissed her forehead and left the room with Christine.

CAROLINE

Brian came back to the house and stormed inside. He went straight to Amanda’s room. He pushed the door open and found Amanda sitting on her bed.

Brian: “Amanda, you had no right interrupting me!”

Amanda: “Like you had any right beating up Rick, he did nothing wrong.”

Brian: “Nothing wrong? You have no idea what he said after you left, he’s scum!”

Amanda; “What did he say?”

Brian: “He said he didn’t care if he ever saw you again cause he got everyhting he wanted from you.”

Amanda: “He didn’t, stop lying.”

Brian: “I’m not lying, so c’mom Amanda tell me the truth, did you sleep with him?

Amanda: (looking stunned) “I can’t believe you said that.”

Brian: “Well, did you?’

Amanda: “So what if I did? It’s none of your business!”

Brian: “Tell me the truth, did you?”

Amanda: “Get out of my room now!”

Brian had tears in his eyes “Oh my God, you did.”

Amanda: “Get out!”

Brian: “Fine you slut!” and with that he stormed out of her room. Amanda got up grabbed her jacket and headed outside. That’s it, she thought, Rick you’re going to learn not to mess with me” and with that she got in the car.

Caroline woke up in Kevin’s arms, he was watching her sleep.

Kev: “Good morning, sexy.”

Caro: “Good morning, it feels so good to wake up in your arms.”

Kev: “I must say, I can get use to this.”

Caro: “I love you so much and I’m so so sorry about Brian.”

Kev: “It’s ok, but I have to know, did you fave feelings for him, and be honest.”

Caro: “Never, I was confused, but there’s one thing I was never confused about.”

Kev: “What’s that?”

Caro: “That I love you.” With that she kissed him and fell into his arms.

Lisa ws in her hospital room, when Amanda walked in.

Lisa: “On, it’s you.”

Amanda: “Well hello to you too and I’m glad to see you also.”

Lisa: “Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be so rude, I was just hoping you were Nick. Where is he?”

Amanda: “Lisa, don’t you remember?”

Lisa: “Remember what?”

Amanda: “Nick’s dad had a heart attack and Nick went to see him.”

Lisa: “Oh yeah. Does Nick know about me being in the hospital?”

Amanda: “Well, Brian told him as he was leaving.”

Lisa: “Leaving? You mean he left?”

Amanda: “Well, his dad is in the hospital, you know?”

Lisa: “At least he’s stable, for all he knows I could be dead.”

Amanda: “That’s not true, he’s called at least 9 times since he left.”

Lisa: “That’s not the same, he should be here for me.”

Amanda: “Lisa, be reasonable.”

Lisa: “I can’t believe you’re taking his side.”

Amanda: “Don’t get so worked up, I’m not taking any sides.”

Lisa: “Well, I don’t want to see Nick or speak to him.”

Amanda: “Lisa, do you really think you’re being fair?”

Lisa: “He’s the one not being fair. I’m suposse to be the love of his life yet he leaves me when I need him the most.” Lisa broke down in tears.

Amanda: “Oh boy, this is going to be a long day.” And she went over to comfort Lisa.

Christine and AJ went to the empty waiting room at the hospital.

Chris: “Look at us AJ, all we do is fight.”

AJ: “Well, I’m not the one that’s still in love with my ex.”

Chris: “Why did you have to bring that up now?” AJ: “Because it’s true.”

Chris: “No it’s not, yes I still have some feelings for Tony and I most likely always will, but I know it’s not love anymore. The way I feel for you, it’s so much more, it’s um, it’s well I can’t even put in into words.”

AJ: “And you know I feel the same way, but is it worth all this, is all we do is fight?”

Chris: “Of course it is, you’r eworth it, but I can’t take it anymore” tears were streaming down her face. AJ came over to her and put his arm aroun ghre but Christine’s sobs continued.

AJ: “I’m so sory for putting you through all this. I can’t believe I’ve hurt you so much. Why do I always hurt the ones I love the most?”

Chris: “Don’t beat yourself up.” She pulled baway from his embrace. “Being here with you now and knowing you still love me makes up for everything.”

AJ: “I’ve never stopped loving you and I never will.” AJ pulled Christine closer and kissed her lips softly and then more intensely. At that exact moment, a picture of Anthony popped into Christine’s head, but she pushed it as far as ahe could and went back to the task at hand.

Cassie pulled her cousin away and led him to her room. Once in there, Cassie exploded and Greg saw a side of her that he never knew existed.

Cassie: “How dare you embarrass me in front of him like that?!? Where the hell did you grow up, don’t you know it’s nice to be polite to your guest?”

Greg: “Listen, don’t even try to defend him. That bastard got you pregnant.”

Cassie: “Well Greg, when was the last time you has sex, cause last I remember it still takes two people.” Greg: “Cassie!”

Cassie: “No! I’m sick of hearing it! Everyone thinks I’m this perfect little girl, well I’m not! I’m young and pregnant, but you know what? You can’t do anything about it!”

Greg: “I’m only trying to help! This guy is all wrong for you, don’t you see how he has you acting?”

Cassie: “Nobody has me acting this way. I an this way, Howie didn’t change me, I changed and Howie doesn’t own me, he loves me.”

Greg: “I love you too.”

Cass: “Than stop trying to run my life. I have to make my own mistakes.”

Greg: “And this is what this is, a mistake!”

Cass: “That’s it! I don’t want to talk to you again until you’re happy for me! Now, just leave me alone!

Greg: “Now this guy has you turning against your own family.”

Cass: “Leave me the fuck alone!” Greg left her bedroom and closed the door. Once outside he said to himself, I’m going to kill that guy, nobody turns my own cousin against me, nobody.

Amanda stormed into the MuchMusic studio, Rick was on live doing the Daily RSVP’s.

Amanda: “Rick, I don’t care if you’re busy or on the air, I gotta talk to you right now!”

Rick: “Great, first I get your fucked up boyfriend in here and now you. You guys are both messed up and on that note here’s a request by John for No Doubt.”

Amanda: “Oh no! First tell all your viewers what you told Brian yesterday. Don’t you think they should know what you think of woman?”

Rick: “Security, we have a hostile guest today. Please get her off the set, now!”

Amanda: “Alright viewers, I might as well tell you since Rick is too chicken. Rick thinks that girls are only good for-“

Rick: “Shut up, Amanda!”

Amanda: “To sleep with.” And then Amanda slapped him so bad her hand hurt. The two security guards grabbed her to lead her coutside as she was still yelling at Rick.

At the hospital, Lisa was alone in her room watching General Hospital when her phone rang. She picked it up since GH was way boring.

Lis: “Hello.”

Nick: “Lisa, Hi! It’s me, how are you? I’m home.”

Lis: “Nick, I can’t believe you had the nerve to call.”

Nick: “What are you talking about?”

Lisa: “I can’t talk right now, GH is getting interesting, bye.” And she hung up on him. At the other end of the line, Nick stared at the phone in disbelief.

Nck reluctanly placed the phone back in the receiver and stared at if for at least 15 minutes. He then polpped down on the couch. What was he rproblem? At that moment Amanda walked in, looking frustrated. She threw her stuff on the floor and ploped down next to him.

Amanda: “Why does life suck so bad?”

Nick: “I dunno, it seems like the people I love most are always mad at me.”

Amanda: “I know exactly how you feel.” She looked into Nick’s eyes and smiled. At last someone who could understand her, he smiled back.

Nick: “How about we drink our sorrows aaway together?”

Amanda: “Good idea. I’ll go get us some beer.”

Christine and AJ were walking down the crowded main srteet, hand in hand, eating ice cream.

Chris: “Let’s go on the board walk.”

AJ: “Sounds great.”

They wakled quietly, listening to the waves crashing against the rocks on ths shore. Then AJ stopped and took Christine in his arms, he looked into her eyes.

AJ: “Christine, you look so gorgeous tonight. I’m always happy when I’m around you. You mean everything to me, I love you.” He kissed her on the lips then slowly down her neck cause he knew she liked that. She felt so good, so in love. It remimded her if when Anthony…She abruptly pulled away.

AJ: “What’s wrong baby?”

Chris: “I’m sorry, I dunno what’s wrong with me.” She looked up at AJ’s loving face and smiled. “I love you so much”

AJ: “Me too. How about we go back home, it’s getting chilly out here. I bet I could find a good way to warm you up.”

She winked at him. “Mmm, I can’t wait. Race ya up there!”

Together they both ran home, laughing and hoping their hapiness could last forever.

Cassie and Howie were in her room.

Cassie: “I’m sorrry about the way Tony acted. He’s so overprotective. He never approves of anything I do, I’ve always been, good, nice, polite, never gets in trouble, kinda kid. I guess it’s kinda of a shock for them that suddenly I’m pregnant and getting married so young and…”She started to cry. “I guess I’m just a big dissapointment.”

Howie held her in his arms. “Cassie, you aren’t a dissapointment. That’s the last attitude you should have if you and I are going to bring a chil into this world.”

Cassie: “I know, I’m sorry. Meeting you was the best thing that happebed to me. I just feel like, like we’re rushing into things.” She looked up at him, her eyes glimering from her tears. Howie could barely hear her when she whispered, “I’m just not ready for all of this.”

Brian was thinking hard all night in his room. The perfect way to get Amanda back to him. He made a few phone calls and got it all set up. Then he walked to Amanda’s room to tell her his plans. When no one answered to his knock he let himself in. What he saw in front of him made him want to puke, lying there under the covers together were Amanda and Nick, their arms intwined. Brian looked away, how could they do this, he thought.

Rick smiled to himself as he saw Brian’s expression through his binoculars. Everything was going as planned, the drug he had put in Amanda and Nick’s drinks had made them totally pass out, and they wouldn’t remember a thing when they woke up.Good thing he had stolen Amanda’s house key from her coat. “Aghh, revenge is so sweet.” He thought to himself and grinned.

Christine and AJ walked in just in time to see Brian storm out of the house.

Chris: “What’s wrong with him?”

AJ: “I dunno, but I have more important things to think about right now.” He led her into his room and closed the door behind them. There were candles lit everywhere, AJ grabbed the remote and clicked on a button, “50 candles” by BoyzIIMen started playing.

Chris: “Looks like you had this all planned out.” AJ wrapped his arms around her and held her very, very close. “I wanted everything to be perfect for you baby.” He began to kiss her, gently at first, them more passionately as they fall onto the bed, their bodies intwined. “I love you AJ” Christine managed to whisper as he kised her down her neck and pulled off his shirt. “I love you too Christine.” She kissed his muscular shoulders, his chest as she clung on to his back. AJ lifted her chin and looked deep into his eyes. “And I always will” Then neither of them could talk as they lost themselves in the heat of the moment.

The next morning.

It was 11:30, Kevin and Caro were at the kitchen table.

Caro: “Lookes like Chris and AJ had a long night, they’re still not up yet.”

Kev: “I guess we’re not the only ones who saw stars last night.” He smiled.

Caro: “I know Brian’s out, Lisa’s at the hospital, but Amanda is still in bed and Nick is in his room. I wonder where he is?”

*** Nick grudgingly opened his eyes. His head hurt like a bitch. “Where am I? This isn’t my room?” he thought. Then he looked and saw Amanda lying next to him. He quickly jumped out of bed and put some clothes on, he almost tripped over the beer bottles on the floor. “What happened?” he thought to himself. His headache was getting worse, just then Amanda stirred and opened her eyes. She tried to lift her head but it hurt too much, she tried to lift her head but it hurt too much, then she saw Nick.

Amanda: “Nick, what are you doing here?” She noticed his confusion.

Nick: “I dunno, I woke up next to you…under the covers…”

Amanda looked around and noticed the empty beer bottles. “Oh my God, you don’tthink we…” She turned pale.

Nick sat down on a chair. “Amanda, what are we gonna do?”

Brian thought he saw a silouette coming out of the bushes in the driveway, it looked familiar. But he didn’t care, it was probably just a reporteer spying on them, he went to see Lisa at the hospital.

Brian: “Brian, what’s wrong? You look devestated.”

Brian: “Listen, I’ll get straight to the point. When I walked into Amanda’s room this morning, Nick was in bed with her.”

Lisa almost chocked. “What?!? No way! How could he? How could SHE? This can’t be happening.” She reached for her purse, pulled out a bottle and swallowed down 3 pills. Brian wasn’t paying attention, he was looking out the windown and crying. He turned back and looked at Lisa.

Brian: “They completely betrayed us. This is more than just a meaningless kiss, they slept together.”

Lisa: “What were they thinking? I can’t believe he could call himself my boyfriend –

Brian: “Or my friend.”

Lisa: “…and how Amanda could call herself my bestfriend –

Brian: “Or my girlfriend.”

Lisa: “Excuse me Brian, could you leave me alone for awhile, I need to think.”

Brian: “Sure.” He gave her a hug, they sat there and cried for a few minutes and Brian got up and left. As soon as he walked out the door, Lisa grabbed her purse again and swallowed down 4 more pills. “No one really cares anyway” she glumly said to herself “Who cares?”

Christine and AJ walked downstairs to join Caroline and Kevin for breakfast. All of them looked really happy and cheerfully chatted as they planned what they would do during the day. Just then Cassie and Howie walked in.

Kev: “Hey guys, wanna join the four of us for a day at the beach? We’re going to a discotheque after…”

Chris: “Ohh, that means I have to go shopping for something to wear!”

AJ: “Don’t you think you have enough clothes?”

Caro: “A girl can never have enough clothes.” Cassie: “Sounds great. We’ll go to the beach then us 3 girls can go shopping, we could visit Lisa in the hospital too.”

Caro: “I don’t think Amanda will be up to it but I’ll go upstairs and ask her anyway.” She got up and left.

Howie: “Sweetie, would you like to help me pack a lunch for all of us?”

Cassie: “Sure sugar.” She kissed him on the cheek.

Chris: “Well AJ, let’s go get ready. I might need help tying up my bikini…”She winked at him.

AJ: “I’m on the job baby.” He grabbed her by the waist and kissed her lips as they ran upstairs. Kevin went up to help Caro convinve Amanda to come.

Cassie: “Looks like everything’s back to normal.” Just then Brian walked in, ran up to his room and slammed the door.

Howie: “Well, not everything.”

Kevin found Caro standing with her ear to Amanda’s door. She signaled him to be quiet.

Caro: “Nick and her are having a serious discussion.” She whispered to him.

Kev: “You shouldn’t be easedropping” He whispered back.

Caro: “Shh.”

Then the door handle turned and Nick stepped out.

Kev: “Nick, what’s going on?” Nick looked at the both of them with a glazed expression and walked to his room without answering. They looked into the room and saw Amanda lying in bed sobbing, withher pillows over her haed. They noticed the empty beer bottles scattered everywhere.

Caro: “Amanda, what’s wrong? What happened?”

Amanda: “Please, just go. I need to be alone.”

Caro: “But –

Amanda: “I said go! Leave!”

Caro walked out and closed the door behind her.

Kev: “What’s going on?” Kevin looked just as puzzled as she did.

Caro: “Oh well, I guess we should get ready.” She was very confused, but she had no intention of teling ANYONE what she heard through that door.

AMANDA

Brian layed down on his bed. He stared out the window. “How could she do this to me? I was finally going to get her back and then she goes off and does this with Nick. Even worse, my friend does it with my girlfriend. Why is my life so fucked up!” His thought ended soon because he heard a familiar voice outside his window. “Where the fuck is my card? I can’t get back into work without it.”

Brian saw someone walk past his window, Brian ran outside to see who it was, just as he got outside, the figure drove away in his car. Brian looked around the house, he noticed that under the bush there was a MuchMusic Access card.

Brian: “Why the hell is Rick’s card here?” Brian hopped into his car and drove after Rick.

Amanda got up from her bed, she looked at the bottles. “Why can’t I remember what happened? Did Nick and I have sex? I can’t stand this! I’m so confused!” She picked up a bottle. She smashed it on her bedpost, she picked up another one and smashed it again. She did it as least 10 more times, her hands were cut and bleeding, AJ walked in her room.

AJ: “What’s going on?” Amanda looked at her hands and then she sat on her bed crying. She rubbed her hands on her face and it got covered with blood.

Amanda: “I fucked up again. Why do I always hurt Brian? First I leave him, meet Rick. Second I sleep with Rick and third I, (she looks around the room) I do this, and I wake up next to Nick.”

AJ: “Brian’s got to still love you, don’t worry.”

Amanda: “You really don’t understand! Brian can’t forgive me for this. Lisa won’t forgive me either, why do I do this? I love Brian with all my heart, is it possible that I can get him back?” Amanda began to cry and AJ held her in his arms.

AJ: “Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll think of something. Love always finds a way.” But AJ had a look of doubtfulness on his face.

Lisa was crying her eyes out in the hospital. Brian came back in the room.

Brian: “Lisa, I’m going. Ijust came to say good bye.”

Lisa: “Brian, I have a question. Do you still love Amanda?”

Brian: “It’s werid, after all that’s happened, I love her more then ever.” He kissed Lisa on the cheek and left. When he was out of sight, Lisa popped four more pills in her mouth. She swallowed them and suddendly, her heart stopped momentanly. Lisa shrugged it off.

Lisa: “It’s nothing, don’t worry about it.”

AJ caught up to the others at the beach.

Chris: “Hey, why are you so late?”

AJ: “I was with Amanda.”

Kev: (quietly) “Was she trying to sleep with him to?”

Caroline hit Kevin’s arm.

Caro: “I heard that, Amanda’s no slut.”

AJ: “Guys, calm down. She’s so broken up over this. She still loves Brian, and I know he still loves her.”

Cassie: “You know, we got to do something to get them back together.” They all began to talk. They had so many ideas, but they came up with the one. They explained to each other what they had to do, and they got right to it. Brian and Amanda we’re going to get back together tonight.

Brian pulled up to the MuchMusic building. He saw Rick, but Brian just listened to his conversation with Master T.

Rick: “See, I took her keys, I drugged their drinks, and now Brian thinks they slept together.” Brian could not stand it any longer. He got out from his hidding.

Brian: “Rick, Rick, Rick, when aer you going to learn. You can never win. Never.” He walked up to Master T.

Brian: “Can I borrow a ring?” Master T passed him a big chunky ring. Brian put it on his middle finger, looked at it for a second, them punched Rick’s face. Rick fell to the floor, his foreheaf had the imprentation of a smiley face on it. It was dripping blood.

Brian: “Now for the last time. Stay around from Amanda!” as Brian walked away, he dropped Rick’s card on his desk.

Nick decided that he couldn’t run from his fans. He had to face them, he got out of his room. He was going to go upstairs and see Amanda. But as he headed in the entrance, Brian walked in the door. Nick turned 180 degrees and began to walk away.

Brian: “Hold it right there Nicky!”

Nick: “I’m surprised you’re still talking to me Rok.”

Brian: “Nothing happened last night.”

Nick: “How do you know? We’re you watching us?”

Brian: “It’s a long story.” They went in the den and Brian told him the whole story.

Nick: “So Rick did this for revenge?”

Brian: “Sure did, but he won’t be bugging us no more.”

Amanda was in her room watching the Daily RSVP. Rick was on, he had a little smiley face dug into his forhead. Someone called in an dasked him what it was.

Rick: “Well, if you were watching a few days ago, a certain angry vewer, who’s name will be withheld. Come in and got mad, he returned back today and he hit me. The make up won’t cover it up, so this is why it’s here.”

Amanda was laughing so hard.

Amanda: “What did I ever see in him?” Just them Brian walked in.

Brian: (in a low southing voice) “Can we talk?” This was the voice Amanda missed so much.

Amanda: “Sure.” She patted the bed next to her. He sat down next to her and he saw her hands. He held them.

Brian: “What happened?” She pulled her hands away.

Amanda: “Nothing. What did you want to talk about?”

Brian: “About last night.”

Amanda: “Brian don’t get into it.”

Brian: “I need to tell you something.”

Amanda: “What this time? I’m a slut again? No, no a whore.”

Brian: “I never said –

Amanda: “Bran, can you leave me alone for now? I don’t thin kI deserve you right now. I’ve hurt you one too many times.” She layed down on the bed and placed a pillow on her headand she cried. He put his hand on her shoulder, but she srugged it off. Brian got up and sadly left the room.

Caro: “Oh, this is perfect.”

Chris: “I hope this works.”

Cassie: “Of course it will. Brian and Amanda were made for each other.”

Howie: “Maybe we should let Lisa know bout this. Why don’t we take her out of the hospital for tonight?”

Cassie: “I’ll go to the hospital and get her.”

Kev: “Why don’t we let Nick do that?”

AJ: “I’ll call our little Nicky now.” AJ called Nick and he agreed to go get Lisa, he would leave in 10 minutes. AJ went back to helping set up, they were on the beach.

Caro: “I can’t wait to see the look on Amanda’s face!”

Chris: “We need to bring the camera.”

Cassie: “I love happy endings.”

Howie: (sarcastically) “Me too.” Cassie took a handful of sand and threw it at Howie. They all laughed and finished working.

Nick went to pick Lisa up. Now that everything was straightened out he could finally make up with Lisa. He would tell her the whole story, take her out of ther hospital and then everyone would be happy. Finally,things would be like when they started. Maybe it would finally last. Nick got out of the car and went into the hospital all the way to Lisa’s room. He knocked on the door, he opened the door. Lisa was asleep. Nick sat next to her and began to talk to her.

Nick: “Oh dear sweet Lisa, I love you so much. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” He held her hand. “Can you ever find it in your heart to forgive me? Nothing happened, nothing we got drugged, we-

Lisa moved, she woke up.

Lisa: “What are you doing here?” She pulled her hand from his hold.

Nick: “I have great news.”

Lisa: “I don’t want to know.”

Nick: “Nothing happened last night.”

Lisa: “Nothing happened? You slept with my so called best friend. You and hre were in bed together, how can you call yourself Brian’s best friend or my boyfriend. I never want to see you again.”

Nick: “Come on Lisa, let me finish.”

Lisa: “No! Get out!” Nick began to walk off, Lis athen said to herself, what have I done, I love Nick. I just can’t let him go. She called out to him.

Lisa: “Nick, I’m sorry. Please come ba-.” She couldn’t continue, she couldn’t breathe. She fell to the bed and went unconsious, Nick turned aroung and saw Lisa.

Nick: “Lisa, no. Doctor, doctor come quick!” A doctor rushed in and they took Lisa on a stretcher.

Nick: “Please hold on Lisa. Take my love and please hold on, for me.” They took her to the ER, Nick was left behind only to wait to see what happens.
