Saturday came around really fast, and it was all Amanda & I could think about. It’s not like we haven had dates in years, but this was one of the first one in awhile with guys we actually liked (well, like what we saw) and these was the first time since like prom that we had double dates, so this was gonna be fun.
We spent the whole week figuring out what to wear, when it comes to clothes we do kinda think alike, comfortable is key. So, we had some outfits in mind that Friday afternoon.
“What about this one?” Amanda asked as she stepped out of her room with another outfit on.
“I like it, but then again, I like it the other one too.”
“Well, I gotta pick one, they are gonna be here.”
“They did say casual, right.”
“They said jeans were fine, just dinner and a movie.”
“You think it’s like a blind date for them?”
“Uh uh, when I was talking to Brian he said they were eyeing us in the restaurant.”
“We were upstairs.”
“If we could see them, they could see us. Though it must have been from a weird ass angle.” Amanda said laughing.
“Back to the important stuff. The overall were key here.”
“With what top?”
“Umm, you wanna borrow my red one?”
“Yeah, can I?”
“Do, you have to ask? Well, as long as I can wear your green shirt, that would look wicked with my cargo pants.”
“Sure, it’s in my room.”
As we were putting the final touches on our make-up (subtle is the key here), there was a knock on the door.
“This is it.” Amanda said looking at me.
“Yep, you nervous?”
“Like you wouldn’t believe.”
“Me too, just remember they’re normal guys now, act normal.”
“Yeah, that’s gonna be easy.” Amanda said as she turned to door knob.
