<flo> I went to look at the Bulletin Board - great URLs - looked at those too.

<candyman1> you can click on the "-" and the irc will go down to the task bar

<candyman1> then you can come back by clicking the item on the task bar

<flo> I don't understand, I come in on a Browser, I don't have IRC.

<flo> When I minimize, it doesn't let me back.

<flo> I downloaded it, but I couldn't make it accept my settings, 
so I deleted it.

<flo> Sometime I will download it again.

<oz1> You are right Flo-it will not let you minimize.

<flo> I had to come in using Flo because "FlorenceF" (me) was being used

<oz1> Ok Flo-figured it out. 

<flo> Can you tell me how I can get back in without doing that?

<oz1> One way for you to go to another browser screen is to click 
on the Navigator wheel beside the mail icon.

<oz1> Or you can go to File and New and you will get a blank screen.

<oz1> When you do this the chat screen will just go to the task bar 
and you can click on it to make it come back.

<flo> I will try it.  By the way I went to look at the Bulletin Board. 
 You put two great URLS there.

<oz1> I tried both ways and it worked for me.

<flo> Yes, it worked for me too.  Thanks. I was able to minimize 
the new screen and there was chat.

<oz1> Now you are in business.

<oz1> When you try to come back through the java chat just change 
or put a number behind Florence and it will work.

<flo> I am most anxious to look at that Computer10l.

<oz1> I didn't look too close at either one but they look good and are free.

<oz1> If you right click on the shortcuts for NS and IE and go to properties 
that is where you can select the preferred browser.

<oz1> What I want to know is how to set up newsgroups or discussion groups. 
I just don't understand it.

<eagel> I did that in outlook but not in netscape

<oz1> I got the server from Sprint but it didn't work.

<eagel> in outlook there is a folder at the bottom of my list for newsgroups

<oz1> I will keep trying. I generally can figure it out after a while.

<oz1> I have all the groups but  can't seem to connect.

<oz1> Did you try right clicking on your shortcuts Jayne

<Jayne> u mean for add BM

<oz1> No-for preferred browser.

<oz1> In the Start In box there should be nothing in the IE one and the 
NS homepage in the NS one.

<Jayne> i think im okay so far..most of my probs is where to put things
 and what to give as a file name.

<oz1> With the new windows it is nice to be able to use more than just 
a few letters.
