Austin Parker is Agent 35 and head of the lab section. He is the nephew of former CONTROL lab man, Prof. Peter Parker. Austin is an actual doctor or as he puts it, "I didn't spend six years in Med School to be called Mister, thank you!" With Austin's position as head lab man, he's gained the respect of every one at CONTROL who first thought he was a spoiled rich boy trying to make good. Austin is the son of wealthy parents and his decision to become a spy as made him the black sheep of the family. This is why he looks up to Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Smart; they're like the parents he would like to have, but probably never can again. Along with his fondness for the Smarts, grows his fondness for their daughter, Maxine. With all their time spent together, Austin couldn't help but fall in love with her. But with all the signals he tries to give her, it seems that Max doesn't feel the same. As much as Austin loves the lab, he also wanted to be a spy and go out on cases. So with the help of Max, Zach, 66, and 99, Austin successfully lobbied to be a part of Team Smart. With his addition to the group, Austin now gets to spend more time with Max, who assigned herself as his partner. Together they make up the brains, but from everyone esle's view, together they make a good team and couple.
