Scooby Doo, the most famous and popular cartoon dogs in the world, maybe even the universe. With his cowardly antics and heavy eating, Scooby is beloved around the world. Originally named after a Frank Sinatra song, Scooby's name is a fixture in America. Don Messick, the one and only voice of Scooby, said "Scooby reminds us of ourselves. We see a little bit of ourselves in his antics and trials." A bumbler by profession, Scooby is usually the first one to see, hear, find, or be chased by a ghost. With his best bud, Shaggy, by his side, these two can clean out at least a hundred refriderators in five seconds flat. Scoob will always be called on to sniff out a clue and the ways he tries to get out of is hilarious. Scoob's relatives also play a part in a show. His ever famous cousin,Scooby Dumb, is always entertaining to watch and hear. Scooby's parents usually make appearences and on a Pup Named Scooby Doo, his whole family was there to say happy birthday to him. And of course, Scooby's annoying and should be dragged out into the street and shot nephew, Scrappy managed to punch his way into our lives as Scooby Fever kept us glued to our tv sets. This dog has spawned more spinoffs and specials then any other cartoon star or tv personality. Scoob's had 7 shows on his own, spinning off into Dynomutt and then the Laff-a-lypics(remember the Scooby Doobies?) and off course movies by the dozen. And to think...this dog might have not been born. God bless Scooby!
