Right after that night, maybe a couple weeks later, they had the Get Smart marathon. I watched it when it came on at 7 or 8pm until it went off at 1am in the morning(on a school night even!) After that, I loved it and I tried taping as many shows as I could. Just when my tape ran out and I had to buy another, N@N took it off, along with many other popular shows. So I forgot about it for awhile. I saw the Nude Bomb and liked it, until I saw Get Smart Again on tv. Then 1995 saw the attempt at another GS. Even though I watched, I didn't really like it. It was stupid and the formula that made the original good, wasn't there. Andy Dick, who played Zach, looked nothing like Max and 99 and where was his twin sister? Thankfully it went off, but oddly enough, I was sad. It was the only GS I had and it was gone. I don't know exactly when I got back into GS. I had always tried to look for a website, but never could find one until I got my own computer and found a truckload of sites and then the rest is history. I love GS. It was so funny and had so many episodes, you'd think it was on longer than it's five years. I have denounced N@N because they only show crap now(with the exceptions of DVD show, MTM show, and ILL). I think anyone who loves GS as much as I do, should ban all N@N programming because they won't show GS or any other cool show. just joking about the N@N ban, but I'm really am mad that the show isn't on anymore. :( The only thing I can take pride in the showing is Scooby Doo. Thank heaven's for Scooby. Hopefully on day, when cable realizes it's stupidity, we can all watch in the shows we came to love. =) the thanx GET SMART: Thank you Carl for putting up a website for us GS fans out there. Without it, no one else would have gotten on the band wagon and the rest is history. To Aaron: everyone, my first story that I finished "Passenger 99" is on Aaron's page too, along with a link to my site. Thanks Aaron for taking the time and writing your stories! If you hadn't, I wouldn't have read them and started writing my own. I think you should do more and maybe, we can do one together! To Ishaan: Thank you, thank you for sitting down and READING my stories and then taking time out to tell me how to get them on my page! Everyone go see his page! To dale: Is this guy not great? He lives in Australia and he's taping GS for me. That's it, I'm moving! Thanks, love, for bugging your neighbors to tape GS for me and I will send you "And Baby Makes Four" so you can tape it! And a big thanx to everyone who ever saw GS and loved it and is on the list, wants to be on the list, looking for the list, etc. Go for broke and let's get a convention going!! And last, but not least, thanx to all the cast, crew, creators, etc that brought GS to tv in the 60's. Without you guys, there wouldn't be a listserve or any webpages, and certainly my page would not exsist! Thanx a lot. GS Forever! SCOOBY DOO: Thanx to everybody who loves Scooby! For your cool pics and stories and sites! Special thanx to Cartoon network who airs Scooby EVERY day here in the US(and hopefully it's the same for everyone around the world) As with GS, thanx to the actors, actresses, writers, directors,(do I hear Academy Award music in the background?) and everyone who made Scooby who he is! RIP Don Messick(the voice of Scooby)who died in 1997. THE MONKEES: thank you, Peter, Davy, Micky, and Mike for being the stars of this show and the music group behind it. Thanks to everyone who still loves them and who go to the concert and keep them alive on tv and on their radios, tapes and cds. DANGERMOUSE: Only one thing will make this page complete and that is if Cartoon Network runs DM. Most people haven't seen this show since the 80's and ten years is a good time to go by before it gets put back on tv. If you haven't seen it, wirte, call, knock on the door, whatever and get it on CN to see this great show!
