Gold Saucers Battle Square is one of the most important areas in Gold Saucer. Some I'm going to tell all the battle handicaps, the prizes and their values, how to get the most battle points, and the best way to go up against the enemies.

Battle Square has 21 handicaps to attempt at stoping you from getting through the 8 battles. They're: All materia color's break, Green materia breaks, Blue materia breaks, Red materia breaks, Yellow materia breaks, Purple materia breaks, weapon breaks, armor breaks, accseorie breaks, no items, HP/MP are halved, HP is halved, MP is halved, No MP, frog, mini, poison, level down 5, level down 10, half speed, and damage equal to hours played times level. They'relso two good handicaps which are HP restored and no handicap.

The prizes are as follows Remedy=100BP, Right Arm=500BP, Pre-Emptive Materia=1000BP, Regan Greens=2000BP, Speed Plus Materia=4000BP, Stardust( does Comet 2)=8000BP, Championship Belt( Power+Vitaility up 30)=16000BP, Omnislash( Cloud's lv4 limit)=32000BP, and W-Summon=64000BP. After you have Omnislash+W-Summon+Cloud's Ultimate weapon then you can partake in the special battle. If you win you'll get the final attack materia. Then if you enter again you'll get either the diary or autograph which are uselss.

You'll get the most BP if you win with most of your MP left, and most of your materia has been handicapped.

When you enter the battle you should have the following equipped. The characters ultimate weapon, an armor that absobs some time of element, and a ribbon. You should have the following materia on you W-magic, Restore( at master level), Haste, Ultima, KotR linked to HP absorb, mime linked to counter, 2x cut( best at 4x cut), and 9999HP and 999MP. In your first battle you should cast haste and regan on yourself. Then proceed to kill of all your enemies once the regan wears off cast it again. Proceed this way until have killed all the enemies. If you have Vincent and his LV4 limit equip him with a precious watch and the other materia that was listed once he gets his limit bar full he'll be immune to all handicaps. Here is another way from Sater. Just fill anyones limit bar before you go into battle( best with Cloud's lv4 break). Then go into battle cast haste and regan on yourself. From there use your limit, then just morph it every battle. It's works great. Thanks Sater!!
