In Prisoned in Paridise

I am a dark soul
Embracing this web of like
Entangled in this Existence

Void beneath me
I sense the void (unlike most others-
     oblivious to the inner)
sense it with my soul (the inner sight)
smell the Death of it
     (the inevitable decay of life)
  feel its closeness
     taste it
hear its whispered words of fate

Yet I Love Life
sweet air blue sky clouds of white
  moon
s glory suns heat
Oh the greenness of Life!
  plants animals rocks air
All of Like!
  I would never leave it
(if I could stay I would)

But my sad existence
  here (among this glory)
In my dispair
Life reaches out- pulls me
  Closer (to the void)
ties me in its tangled threads
  my life
     (not life itself)
is my prison
