Master of Shadows

drifting on through the night
my acorporeal form; ghostly cast
gliding down between the trees
i come upon thee

standing darker than darkest night
master of shadows cast
you look at my glimmering form
i see thy midnight mask

pausing there beneath your gaze
i see your utter void of light
as your seein my body of countless
eons toiling, weaving, threads of bright

“how fair the Fates this night
that bring us both togther”
“ey m’lord, tis true. both us bein
weary of our singular enchantments”

darker than blackest night
you are m’lord
‘gainst my captured moonlight”
I whisper to his shade

“whilst to you my lady bright,
shine more than the moon
against my gathered shadows”
he said to mine whisp o’ beam

moving as one till dawn
we make our vows to meet
you the Master of Shadows
I the Mistress of Light
