Sunbeams...

sunbeams dances on the meadow
all on a summers day
breezes sweet and merry
flowers brought my way
sitting here among it
wrapped up in the song of life
words of an old wise-man
trip my trembling lips:

Behold in the
  bloom of apples
and the violets in
  the sward
a hint of the old,
  lost beauty
of the Garden of
  the Lord!
(John Greenleaf Whittler, 1807-1892)

sitting here watching sunbeams
all on a summers day
cant help but be a wonder,
why anyone would stay away!
