Michael Hunter became involved in our 'Brave' project as assistant engineer at Parr
Street Studios, Liverpool. He went on to work with us at the Racket Club and on tour,
engineering studio recordings and assisting Mark Kelly with keyboard maintenance and
programming. He has a voracious appetite for all things inspired or experimental, and
therefore, a natural choice of 'architect' for this venture.
'River' was composed and performed (no sequencers) by Mike and icludes musical themes and
effects lifted from our recent albums. This music was originally conceived to provide an
ambience in the room to set up an atmosphere which would lead to the live performance of
the 'Brave' album. As a consequence of its success on the tour we received a great many
requests available on CD. It's good with joss sticks...
