This page represents the interests of both my wife and myself. I've been interested in photography ever since my Dad gave me my first Brownie camera to take pictures with on our trips out West. Janet's interests in arts and crafts cover a wide and varied gamut. Specializing in soft sculpture doll making, she takes her inspiration from all areas of art and from all of the books she reads, many of which you will find in our "General" section. |
The
Nature Photographer's Complete Guide to Professional Field Techniques by John
Shaw. Hands down, this is the best book I have read on the art of photography.
Shaw is one of the world's great nature photographers but better yet, is a master at
explaining photography in words anyone can understand. I finally
understood exposure for the first time after reading this book. If you're serious
about photography whether nature or any kind of photography, this is a great place
to start. Gorgeous photos. $18.00
