Butterhorn Rolls
2 pk Yeast
1/2 c +1 tb sugar
1 c Warm water
1 ts Salt
1/2 c Oil
3 Eggs, slightly beaten
5 c To 6 - flour
Melted butter
Combine yeast, warm water and 1 tablespoon sugar. Let stand for
several minutes. Add remaining sugar, salt, oil, eggs and enough
flour to make a smooth dough. Mix well and place in a large ziplock
bag, chill overnight. Separate the dough into 2 equal parts. On a
floured board, roll each piece into a circle and cut into 16 equals
wedges. Holding each piece by the wide end, dip in melted butter.
Roll each piece around a finger and place point down on a cookie
sheet. (you will need 3 cookie sheets). Let rise for 2 to 3 hours or
until doubled in size. Bake at 400 deg f for 5 to 6 minutes or until
light golden brown. Makes 32 rolls..
