Today as I grew as a child, You molded me. If you gave me love, I felt warmth for all mankind. If you rejected me, Then I felt the pain of loneliness. I asked myself why? It was Today that really counted, When a soft hug would of made a difference, A kind word every now and then would have been music to my ears. You could not offer me this in time of need. I sometimes ask why, And never got a answer. I know now there are none. Today I really loved you, But pain could never let me tell you.
