Part 1
After Xavier: Age of Apocalypse

Magneto stared out across the vast piles of twisted scrap metal and rotting corpses.

“God help me. What happened here?” Thought the master of magnetism clenching his fist.

“How could I have let this happen?”

{{It’s not your fault. Holocaust took us by surprise. We couldn’t have done anything.}}

Said Chamber as he walked up the rocky path behind Magneto.

“But it is. I could have been more careful. Perhaps have been more ready for the attack.” Said Magneto dropping to his knees and picking up a scrap of cloth. “Thanks to me, thousands of humans are dead and all because I was sloppy.” Tears came to the eyes of the man known as Magneto. He had witnessed this a thousand times, but this time, it was his fault.

{{Don’t let it get to you. The team and myself need you strong right now Magnus. What we don’t need is a weak and emotional man as our leader.}} Said Chamber offering his hand to the fallen magneto. The fallen man rose and dried his tears. He knew what he needed to do. He needed to kill Apocalypse and all his horsemen. He needed to avenge the fallen lives and somehow find salvation in his revenge. No more holding back. No more hiding from the Infinite Guards. It was time to fight. Time to retake the world. A time for VENGEANCE!!!

“Hey Morph, what’s wrong?” Asked Blink as she walked into the small room of a ruined home. Morph didn’t answer. He just sat there looking down at a small teddy bear he was holding. Tears formed at the bottom of his eyes and fell, rolling down his thin white cheeks. No smile of mirth was on this man’s face. Just sorrow.

“Come on Sydney. You can tell me.” Said Blink sitting beside her longtime friend. “After all we’ve been through, can’t you trust me?”

“Y-y-yeah. It’s just that all the bodies...all the blood...I just can’t deal with it...” Cried Morph tears now streaming from his eyes. “Look at this.” He said showing her the bear. “This probably belonged to some little girl or boy. Now that kid is dead.”

“I know that you’re sad Sydney, but we need you to be strong right now. I-I need you.” Said Blink leaning against Morph.

“What?” Asked Morph raising his head.

“I need you Syd. I...I love you.” Answered Blink putting her arm through his and leaning her head against his shoulder.

“Aw geez. I-I don’t know what to say.” Stuttered Morph.

“Then don’t say anything. Just be here with me now.” Whispered Blink closing her eyes and locking her lips with her beloved.
