Ko`o Ko`o Lau
Bidens pilosa
Ko`o ko`o Lau or Kinehe is a very common weed
also known as Mexican needle. There is a native
species which has a much less hitch-hiking seed
than the introduced type. Each are now used for
herbal teas which are said to stimulate the appetite,
and perform as tonic for high blood pressure and
diabetes. The tea is very good and better than most
caffiene teas available.
