`Ekaha...Bird Nest Fern
Asplenium nidus
A very common native to Hawaiian rainforests,
`Ekaha usually emerge as epiphytes, or a
plant that grows upon another plant. Their
beautiful rosette shape recalls the similar
appearance to a nest, hence the common name.
I have found some `Ekaha so large that I can fit
my whole body into one! (and I'm 6'4")
