Caleb, I was so attached to you long before you were born.
I was so very anxious for the day you would come into our world.
I would often daydream about the things we would do...........

Papaw and I would buy you a fishing pole.
We would go out to the pond and teach you to fish.
Uncle Matthew would ride you on the go-cart.
Eventually, Papaw would build you a go-cart.
Aunt Katie would take you for nice, long strolls.
Mommy and Daddy would bring you over to spend the night.
I would rock you to sleep in the rocking chair
that I was once rocked in.
Of course, you would sleep with Papaw and I.
The joy in my heart to hear you say "Grandma" for the first time.
I could see your tiny handprints everywhere.
I could almost hear your footsteps
OH, WHAT I WOULD GIVE TO HEAR YOUR FOOTSTEPS.

You, my little one, have a very special place in my heart.
And you know what, Caleb?
I am still attached to you.
You live in my heart.
And my precious Angel, You Always Will.

I Love You,
Your Grandma
