Laura Prepon was raised in Watchung, NJ, a short distance from New York
City. She began studying acting at age 15. Prepon has always loved dance
and has trained in ballet, modern and jazz. She is also a sports enthusiast
and plays tennis on her high school team. In addition, she enjoys
gymnastics and is an equestrienne.
THAT `70S SHOW marks Prepon's television network debut. Previously,
she portrayed the lead character on the groundbreaking Internet series
"They Go On."
While studying theater at the Total Theater Lab in New York City, Prepon
appeared in numerous theatrical presentations, including "A Woman of
Property" and "Ascension Day."
She currently divides her time between Watchung and Los Angeles.
