First it was a great time of joy. Kevin and I were going to be parents, now it is a time of great sorrow. Its difficult to understand why a life that had not even begun had to be cut so short. No words can explain the emptiness we have in our hearts and though we may never know why God chose to take Amanda from us, perhaps her death was meant to bring new life to others.

I would like to thank all my friends and family for their support. Those of you who could not be with us in person I know were there in spirit. I don't think I could do this without you. Thanks especially to Charissa, Saloni, Craig, Drew, Margaret and Dionne. Dionne asked where I got my strength, I get it from you guys. Kevin I'll never blame you for drifting away, it was hard on both of us.
