Welcome to my poetry corner. Most of the poetry here was written while I attented high school so it may seem a tad bit dreary at times.

Since we went our seperate ways,
I have been counting the days.
Till we meet again,
For I think of your as more than just a friend.
Although you may not feel the same, Forever yours I shall remain.

These walls are closing in on me,
Forever wanting to be free.
Free to be what I want to be,
To look and dress the way I want.
These walls are closing in on me, And forever they will haunt.
I wish that I could run away,
But for now I must stay.
These walls are closing in on me,
This is the way it was intended to be.
So I shall be,
Forever wanting to be free.

I stand alone,
Isolated.
Abandoned.
The darkness surrounds me.
Consuming my soul.

The world seems cold,
Lifeless.
Empty.
I stumble in the gloom.
Then I see the light.

You stand there,
Forsaken.
Withdrawn.
But it's your light I see.
The loneliness fades.

We stand together,
Hopeful.
Strong.
Our light beckons the abandoned.
Our souls are one.
