Sorry for the break in action... but here the second half of Part 2!

"I just thought you would want to know."
"Why should we?" Zac interjected.
The girl glared at Zac. "Well, you seemed to be interested before."
"Yeah, that's because you said you knew where he was." Taylor explained. "We had some work to do, and we wondered where he was. We don't care about what he's been doing."
The girl turned to leave. "Well, I know someone will be interested."
Taylor grabbed her arm. "Why are you so intent on telling people this?"
"It's juicy, that's why."
"What business is it of yours? Or of anyone else's?" The girl glared at him. "Just keep you're mouth shut, ok?" She jerked her arm free and walked out the door, slamming it behind her. Taylor shuddered. "Some people... that's just nasty."
"I can't believe it, Isaac and Jazmine?"
"Yeah, like it wasn't totally obvious. I just can't believe she came and told us what he was doing, like we want to know!"
"Well, at least we where he's been, for all that's worth."

Jazmine rolled over in the bed. As she did her cast slammed into Isaac's shin. She jerked up when she heard him scream. "Isaac, are you ok?"
Isaac slowly sat up, clutching his leg. "Oh, I'm fine." He released his leg to see if there was a bruise. There was. "I like purple anyway."
"I feel so bad now, I'm so sorry!"
Isaac got out of the bed, limped to the love seat and sat down. "I think I'll be safer over here." He said, sarcastically.
Jazmine went over to him, and looked at the large bruise she had made. "I'm going to go downstairs and get some ice for that." She grabbed her crutches and went downstairs to the kitchen. The freezer was huge, and it took her a while to find the ice. She grabbed a towel from the table and went back upstairs.
When she went in the room Isaac was smiling at her. "I knew I'd get pay-back eventually."
Jazmine looked confused as she placed the ice on his leg. "What to you mean?"
He held the ice to his leg and explained. "Well, if you remember, all this started when I had to get some ice for you."
Jazmine smirked as she remembered. "So, now that we've come full circle, does this mean all this is over?"
Isaac put his arm around her waist and pulled her down next to him. "Oh no. There's still much more to this circle." Jazmine leaned her head against his shoulder, and he gently blew across her face. "As I remember it, after that you spent two nights with me, so there's still that to look forward to." Jazmine lifted her head up and smiled at Isaac, who gently pushed her head to his. Their kisses were soft at first, but they soon became more intense, each exploring the inside of the other's mouth with their tongue. He moved his hand from behind her to her shoulder. He started kissing her neck and as he reached her shoulder he pushed off the strap of her camisole and started kissing her bare shoulder. Jazmine closed her eyes and put her head on his shoulder, gently nibbling on his neck. They both stopped, and started breathing very hard.
"I don't remember that happening." Jazmine whispered into Isaac's ear.
"Neither do I, but I don't mind. Do you?"
Both lifted their heads up and looked into each other's eyes and smiled. "Nope. Not at all." After a while of just looking at each other Jazmine got up. "I'm going to change, so we can eat."
Isaac got up as well. "Well, you can change out here, I've gotta go take a nice, cold shower." He took the clothes that had amazingly stayed on the side of the love seat during that little scene, and went to take his shower. Jazmine slid the strap of her camisole back on her shoulder and took the clothes she was planning to wear and changed.

Isaac and Jazmine ended up eating in the room, for neither of them felt like fixing anything. As Jazmine popped a cordial cherry in her mouth she looked at her watch, which read 8:27. "So, what to do now?"
Isaac took a sip from his Dr. Pepper and thought for a while. "Well, we could go on the deck for a while, get some fresh air."
"Sounds good to me." Jazmine took Isaac's Dr. Pepper from him and had a sip before putting it down. Isaac pulled the key from his back pocket and opened the door to the deck. Jazmine followed him and leaned against the railing. "You know how beautiful this is?"
Isaac wasn't looking at the moonlight on the pond, as Jazmine was, but he was looking at her. "Yeah, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Jazmine reached for his hand and held it close. He then looked out at the pond and forgot the conversation he had had with his brother, and couldn't remember a time when this hadn't been a part of his life.
They just stood, holding each other's hand for about an hour, looking out at the pond. When it started to get colder, Isaac wrapped Jazmine in his flannel. They went back in around 10:30, and curled up on the love seat in front of the fire Isaac had started. Jazmine dozed a little, but when she regained full awareness she got up and decided to change for bed. Isaac felt lucky then, for he didn't need to take time to change. He just took off his shirt and pants and climbed into bed in his boxers. He'd been waiting for Jazmine for around 5 minutes before she emerged from the bathroom, in the green velvet camisole and the little shorts that she had found before that went with it.
Jazmine slid over to Isaac and gave him a light kiss on his shoulder, then took his arms and put them around her waist. "Ya know, this is the first time I've started out the night in bed since I moved here?" Jazmine whispered softly. Isaac smiled as she closed her eyes and the dying light of the fire slowly disappeared.

When Isaac left that morning Jazmine was still asleep. Isaac told Dave he had to go to his house to pick up some things, and that he'd call him from the park when he was ready to be picked up.
When he rang the bell his mother answered the door. "Isaac, glad you've come back," she said as she let him in. "Taylor tells us you've found an apartment."
"Yeah." He started walking up the stairs to his bedroom.
Taylor met him at the top of the stairs. "So, you've decided to come back?" Isaac ignored his brother and went to his room. Taylor followed him and sat down on Zac's bed. "I knew it wouldn't last long."
"Taylor, shut up already." Isaac rummaged through some of the drawers and picked out a few of his favorite shirts and some notebooks. When he was done he grabbed a bag, put what he had found in it, and went back downstairs.
His mother was still standing at the base of the stairs. "Where do you think you're going?"
"Back to my place. I just came by to pick some things up."
"Oh no, not yet. Your father wants to talk to you." Isaac sighed, threw his bag on the sofa, and sat down next to it. "Thank you. I'll go get him."
Taylor sat on a chair next to Isaac and grinned. "I knew you wouldn't get away that easy." "Shut up, Tay. I'm getting sick of you." Isaac turned away from his brother to see his father standing over him.
"So, what's this I hear about you having you're own apartment?"
"I found a place in the same building as one of my friends. I thought it would be a lot better than if I stayed here and you had to cram the baby's crib in the closet. This way, Mac can sleep in Tay and Zac's room, and the baby can sleep in your room."
“I can see why you’d get your own apartment,” Taylor shot a questioning glance at his father, he couldn’t be letting Isaac get away with this. “But, I’ve also heard that you got Jazmine Belmont one, which I can’t approve of.”
“Dad, I can’t let her go back to her mother.”
“Yeah, the abuser. Isaac, how do you know that her mother abuses her. Is there any physical evidence?”
Isaac stammered for a while. “Well, no. But I believe Jazmine, she wouldn’t lie about something like that.”
“Isaac, you can’t just take someone away from their family, and you can’t accuse them of abuse if there’s no evidence. How well do you know Jazmine, anyway? How do you know she wouldn’t lie?”
Isaac jumped up to stare down his father and started yelling. “Why does no one believe me? Why is it so horrible that I accuse her mother? It’s true! Why do you all just brush this aside?”
He was going to continue, but his little sister, Avery started tugging at his pant leg. “Ikey, someone’s here to see you.” Isaac turned to see Dave standing on the edge of the room. He patted Avery’s head and went over to him.
“Ike, you’ve gotta go, now.”
“Why, what’s up?”
“Jazmine’s mother.” He looked back at Mr. Hanson and Taylor, who were staring at them and listening. He pulled Isaac into the foyer. “Mrs. Belmont showed up at the house apparently almost right after you left. Jazmine had been in the back at the gazebo, and her mother found her. No one knows for sure what happened, but Michelle had gone into your room, looking for Jazmine. When she looked out back she saw her mother beating the pulp out of her. Michelle told me, and I called the cops, who came almost immediately. They're holding Mrs. Belmont until the ambulance arrives." Dave and Isaac ran out the door, leaving Taylor and Mr. Hanson standing shocked at what they had overheard.
Isaac jumped in the car and Dave drove them to the house. When they arrived the attendants had Jazmine on a stretcher and were about to lift her into the ambulance. Isaac stood in shock looking at her. She was totally mutilated. There were bloody slashes all over her, and those parts that weren't bleeding were black and purple bruises. Before he could even think, he was over at the ambulance door, reaching for Jazmine's hand. The attendants were pushing him away. "Sorry, son. Please, step back." Isaac kept reaching for her, and the people kept saying the same thing.
"Let him hide with her," Dave yelled at them. "She doesn't have anyone else, unless you want her mother to ride with her." The men then let Isaac in and closed the doors and drove off. Through the back window Isaac could see Mrs. Belmont being handcuffed and put in the police car, and someone else questioning Michelle. When he looked down at Jazmine he nearly cried. "Why did I leave her," he thought to himself. He put his hand on top of hers, and brushed the hair out of her face with the other one. When he did he revealed her eye, which was severely swollen, red, and purple. He bent his head down, ashamed that he had let this happen to her.
Jazmine opened her eyes a little, and seeing Isaac was there she spoke. "Guess it was a dream."
