Hime-chan's Ribbon is somewhat a magical girl show, although she doesn't gain super powers, etc. It's targeted towards a younger audience (elementary to jr. high), so it's viewable by young children. Varying "lessons" are weaved into the plot, but it's not excessive.

As with other Tomodachi Anime fansubs, the translation notes are very informative about the Japanese culture, the fonts are big and easy to read, and the translation and editing works are great. Tomodachi Anime completed the entire series, so if you're looking to collect a complete series, try this one. Plus a dose of shoujo anime is always good.

The opening & ending songs are performed by SMAP. Is this before they were big?
