"I saw the "Boiler Room" trailer. I think it's a little misleading as I'm only in the movie for about ten minutes. It's a very small cameo which took me two days to film--basically two monologues that I loved so much they made me want to do the movie--regardless of how small the part was. My role is very much a homage to Alec Baldwin's in Glengarry Glenross. Same type role, same type deal (I even put some weight on--in what I now like ot think of as the final stroke of my homage to Alec Baldwin...though he has lost a lot of weight recently.) Anyway, Boiler Room will Premiere at the Sundance film festival, though I'm not sure if I'll go..."-Ben Affleck
