"The Same Five Questions We Always Ask

Okay, so 24-year old Casey Affleck has a more famous older brother, but by no means is he a poor woman's version of Ben. Casey's got his own appeal, a mix of smart-ass humor and boyish innocence. I thought he was especially cursh-worthy as a sensitive punk rocker in 200 Cigarettes, and as the bratty, double burger- ordering Morgan in Good Will Hunting. And I really don't think that they'd give out major parts in the upcoming star-studded movies committed and Drowning Mona to just any schlub, no matter what his last name is.

What was the last dream you had?
I was standing in a big crowd at a department store and there was this person I knew five years ago who was playing onstage in a band. He got really mad and aggressive and came over to me, playing the guitar, and started playing and shouting in my face.

What's the worst thing you've ever done?
I've been mean to my mother. Impatient or, you know, just not considerate. My mother came to my apartment and the phone rang and she went over to the door buzzer and she pushed the talk thing and goes, 'Hello? Hello?' And I started laughing at her and she threw a pillow at me.

How many times have you been in love?
Once. When I was 18, I thought I was in love. You always think you're in love, but then, when you fall out of love, you go, 'That wasn't love." You have to think that true love is the kind of thing that you won't fall out of.

What's the biggest prank you ever pulled?
Once, I went through a wormhole into Jennifer Lopez's body and Puff Daddy tried to grab my ass and I slapped his face. [laughs]

Okday, how about one that really happened?
I lied to a journalist once. I lied about my life... everything. Every question they asked me, I gave them a lie.

Do you believe in God?
Yes, because we're acquaintances. On occasion, we've shared words.
