Welcome to my place, Let me tell you a little about myself and my interests. I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan July 18th 1938.The third of four children. I had a great childhood growing up with my two sisters and brother. As I grew up I decided wanted to travel and lived in several areas of the US, but never could find the place I was looking for until I visited Florida in 1961, I fell in love with Florida and moved here in 1966. With my husband I ran a small bar & lounge on the beach. It was located on the Space Coast at Canova Beach. For people that may have been in that area at that time it was called The Lighthouse Lounge. We saw most of the early space shots go up,It was a very exciting time to live in Florida. After selling the property in 1984 we traveled all over the United States in a motor home always returning to Florida. Roger passed away in August of 1993, and in 1996 I moved to the small town of Archer outside of Gainesville Florida. Archer is a very old town that has almost died in the recent years. It has a very interesting history for the part it played in the civil war. Please look at my Florida and the history of Archer, when you click on it you will go to Alachua County and can get to Archer fom the small towns which includs Cross Creek where Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings lived and wrote "The Yearling" her cracker house is open for public viewing. I hope you enjoy your tour of my Florida. I just this last month May 1999 moved to 5 acres outside of the town of Chiefland Fl. I love the country atmosphere here, it is very quiet nd peaceful, maybe I have made my last move.
