Shrimp Romar
-
2 lbs. Fresh jumbo or large shrimp
-
1 lb. Butter or margarine (I like to use some of each)
-
1/2c. olive oil
-
juice of 4 lemons
-
1 Tbsp. Paprika
-
2 Tbsp. Black pepper
-
½ tsp. Basil
-
½ tsp. Oregano
-
½ tsp. Rosemary
-
½ tsp. Salt
-
4 Tbsp. Minced garlic
Preheat oven to 450-F degrees. Thoroughly wash and
peel the shrimp. Place the shrimp in the bottom of a shallow baking
dish. Combine all of the other ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a
boil over medium high heat. Pour this mixture over the shrimp and bake
for 20 minutes.
Serving ideas:
-
Toasted French bread. Do not butter this. Instead, use it
to soak up the yummy buttery/lemon sauce that the shrimp baked in.
-
Baked potato. You could also put the excess shrimp sauce
over this!
-
Corn on the cob. Once again, you could just roll the corn
in the extra shrimp sauce rather than buttering it.
