SHARON WALDEN Class of 1961 I'm sorry to report that Sharon's obituary was in the Memphis Commercial Appeal on Sat., June 30, 2001. Sharon died of cancer last Fri. here in Memphis. She leaves her husband, Tom Hall, and 2 children, Pam Simpson of Senatobia, MS and Jeffery Cupp of Nashville, as well as 4 sisters of and brother. Sharon was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Sharon was a fun-loving person and a loyal friend. She was a cheerleader captain, a member of the Yellowjacket and Review Staffs, Tech Hall of Fame, and active in many other clubs while at Tech. She attended previous reunions, and will be sorely missed at the next one. Sharon's funeral will be Monday, July 2 at 1 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery South. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery South. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Mrs. Hall, the wife of Tom Hall for 10 years, also leaves a daughter, Pam Simpson of Senatobia, Miss.; a son, Jeffery Cupp of Nashville; four sisters, Carol Jean Mitchell of Atlanta, Rosalyne Galbach of Pensacola, Fla., Kay Prueitt of Oxford and Sandra Peppers of Memphis, and a brother, Donnel F.
