Leonardo won his court case agianst Playgirl, whice means that they can't put naked pics of him in their magazine. He says it is a violation of his privacy. I agree! They came to a private settlement. However, Leonardo will be appering in court agian- this time on the witness stand! More on this story later.

Leonardo DiCaprio has signed on to do a new movie called 'The Beach'. In this contempoary adventure film, Leonardo will play a American backpacker, who hears about a 'paradise' from a stranger. He desides to set out for Tiland to find it. The filming for this movie is set to begin in January 1999. This almost conferms what I thought all along-- Leo won't be doing American Psycho.

I heard that, if all goes according to plan, Leonardo will be appering on the big screen in November 1998 in Celeberty. But it probably won't fill our Leo-need. He will only be appering in it for 12 minutes. So why, you may wonder, would a huge star like Leo want to apper in a movie for 12 minutes for a reported 1 million dollors when he can get 20 million for a title roll? Well, for one, he wanted to work with the famed director, Woody Allen, who's most recent work includes Deconstructing Harry. Also, the film was shot in New York before Titanic was out in theaters. Which means that Leonardo didn't have a thousand screaming fans running after him yet- only a couple hundered!:)
