Jealousy rears its ugly head
Black/green clouds my eyes
poisons my words..
Hate drips from my fingers onto the screen
things I would have said in jest
turn to daggers in my head

desire to rend flesh,
stamp life down into the dust
tred on his soul

Jealousy...
killer of wives and husbands
friendships and partnerships
Destroyer of families and nations

Protector of the broken heart.
