ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Well, some of you have asked for info on me, so I thought I would appease you. My name is Erika. My family and friends call me Amerika, Eri, Ricki, hey you, and my younger brother Scott's favorite, Prozac. I guess you could say that I'm a little hyper. Not all that bad, I just started laughing in church last week and my friend Philip had to practically carry me out. What can I say, I'm a happy girl.

That doesn't tell you much about me. I am 27 years old. Yep, you heard right, 27 years old. Call me a pedophile for liking Hanson, I don't care. I love their music and admire them for doing what they want and love to do. Maybe I'm a little jealous too. If I could have my dream come true, it would be to do what they do. That brings me to the next thing. I LOVE to sing!!! I write my own music and sing it for whoever will listen. I sing and play the keyboard every Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night at church, and I used to travel in a band called "The Jericho Project" with my older brother. He and his family moved to Chicago, so we had to stop singing together. Although, he will be in Kansas City right after Easter, and we are going to do a concert while he is here.

I come from a fairly large family. There are 7 kids; I am number 3. My older brother Matt is 33, 34 at the end of March, Alicia is 29, I am 27,almost 28, Chrissy is 26, Ryan is 24, 25 April 1st (We call him our little fool), Scott is 20, and Lorien is 17. Let me just say that it is NEVER a dull moment around our house.

In addition to getting on the internet, I LOVE to write. It is a new found hobby, because I was never encouraged to do it as a child. I absolutely LOVE it!! I have been writing songs since I was about 6 or 7, but those aren't full length stories. I LOVE to read, also. My favorite authors are Tim LaHaye and John Grisham. I, also, enjoy traveling which goes along with my music. It's a fringe benefit actually. I have been all over Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Colorado, Illinois, and London, England, all over former East Germany, and Prague, Czech Republic.

I know that I have totally rambled. If you would like to see more about "The Jericho Project," or just more about Hanson, you can go visit my other Hanson website at The Hanson Tour Bus.

Sorry this went so long!!! :oD
