The Music That Made Me

If you want to skip this krap and just read the lists,
GO RIGHT AHEAD!!!

Well, first, I must go back to my roots. I was born and raised
in the South so naturally a HUGE influence is Elvis. My mom
raised me on those and a few other things like the Beatles
and Arlo Guthrie. I don't like to listen to country but I
can appreciate that on some level it has been an influence on
me. My mom is also the reason that I am a singer. She is a
very musical person. I've sang for 2 bands, one punk and
one alternative. The best concert I have ever been to was OF
COURSE The Misfits. We went to see them in March of 1998 in
Memphis, TN. It was a life changing experience. I was already
into punk but that was the turning point that made punk my
first love. The show itself was spectacular, and then we got
to meet them after the show! (see above pic) The picture
includes (left to right) My husband Daniel, Jerry Only of
the Misfits, my ex-best friend Michelle, and me on the far
right (I had my husband cut me out because I look pretty
awful) They were so nice.(I may include the other pic with
Michale Graves, at the bottom) I practically fell in love
with Jerry Only. Well, enough of this krap, I'll just get
to the point and list all my past and present musical tastes
and influences. There are lots that I probably will leave out,
but I just don't have the time or energy to list them ALL.
