George Washington Gideon, son of John Gideon and Mary Evans, was born
25 Jan 1836 in Hawkins Co, TN and died 11 Nov 1911 in Christian Co,
MO. He married 21 Mar 1854 Martha Jane Logan.
He served in the Union Army 4 years,enlisting in the 24th MO Inf. in
1861. He was my ggg-grandfather.
