However, there will be some pop (unannounced) quizzes. All tests and quizzes must be signed. Students who return their signed tests in the following day will be given 3 extra credit points. Tests or quizzes written in pen will have 5 points deducted. - HOMEWORK is assigned every night. Credit will only be given when all work is neatly shown. Students may check their work with a calculator but the numbers you use must be shown in any event. Late homework will not be accepted. - NOTEBOOKS should be kept in a neat chronological order. Notebooks will have notes in front then your divider then homework. All notes and homework should be dated. OTHER INFORMATION - The best method of succeeding in any class is to do homework on a regular basis and not to miss class for frivolous reasons. Please try not to schedule vacations during school time. - Students who miss class but are in the building are responsible to have their homework given to me that day. - Students who are absent from school must make up their work as soon as possible. They must complete it in double the time they were absent after they return. If they miss two days, they have four days to make it up. If they are missing for a week, they should complete everything in two weeks.
1. You will need one three ring binder with a supply of three hole punch paper. Put your name and the word Math in large letters on the front of your notebook. 2. A supply of round reinforcers is suggested. 3. All notes will be taken during class. Notes must be in chronological order by date. If you are absent you should copy notes taken by another student. A buddy who can use carbon paper to copy notes for you is suggested. 4. Practice work and problems done during class should be included with your notes. These must be obtained from another student if you are absent. 5. A divider with two pockets should divide notes and homework. 6. Homework should be dated and written in the second portion of your notebook as it is assigned. 7. I will collect all notes and homework at least one week before the end of the marking period. 8. See me about any problems with the information above.
