Hi, I'm Boomer and this is Sandi with me. Since I'm the smartest of us, I'll be doing the talking here. We want to tell you about us and about our Mom! Although it's gonna be hard for us, we'll try not to lick you while you're reading the story about us and our Mom!
Our Mom has always loved us and all animals lots and lots. We know this because she scratches in all the right places and she cuddles and plays with us on the floor. She takes good care of us and feeds us good food every day. The cats really have it cushy, they even get to sleep in her bed with her at night, when we have to sleep in the basement!
Over the years, Mom has loved and looked after many different animals, including fish, turtles, an oriental fire bellied toad, hermit crabs, mice, hamsters, bunnies, a pidgeon, chickens, many cats, 5 dogs and 4 horses.
We used to live on a farm and that was great. My birth Mom Shanda, myself and Sandi got to chase squirrels, bunnies and horses and a few times we even caught some of the chickens! Mom didn't like that very much though and she scolded us! We don't like to be scolded.
Now we live in town and we don't have anyone to chase but that's Ok because we get to play frisby more often now! Sometimes we see a squirrel or wild cat while we're walking with Mom and then it's just like old times at the farm. We love to go for walks, especially in the summer when we can swim and fetch sticks in the water! We share our home with two cats - Bailey, who is very big and likes to scratch us (we try and stay away from him) and Truffles, a cute, fluffly Persian cat - we like her! Our Master, Calin also has a corn snake named Rusty and there are two cages of mice, but they're not really pets.
So, that's about it, I'm almost 12 years old now and I need to lie down and rest! I hope you like us as much as we like you!
Sandi and I get to have our pictures on here and the cats don't, because as everyone knows, dogs rule and cats drool!
