Hippie Zone

This is our "Hippie Day's" as they were called. We were not even married yet in this picture, but I was "sweet 16" & not suppose to be dating an older guy. But somehow the long hair just got to me! ;-)

The Butterfly is a symbol of something very special we both had shared.When everyone else was getting class rings & pinned we used a butterfly patch that he gave to me which made a statement, I was his! Now once again these were the days of hippy beads, patche's,incense, lava lamps, & peace signs.All of which made some kind of statement back then. I couldn't have been more please, had I gotten a large diomond.....(which by the way, hasn't happened yet)!!

Hum? Does he or doesn't he????? Only 24 years have proven true!!

But it didn't matter because we filled them up on .50 cents a gallon of gas & away we would go>>>never even knowing where we were going, but picking up every one we saw in the process!
