This page is about me (Becca Goldie)and all my horsie friends as we venture through Gymkhanas, clinics, trail rides and anything else that comes our way!

Remember Me, more affectionately know as "Justa", is the horse I have ridden for lessons and after that, trails and a gymkhana. He's a 25 year old 3/4 Thoroughbred gelding, and well, to say the least, we have no idea what the other 1/4 is. We figure it is a draft breed, because he looks nothing like a TB! He's a palomino, and at the moment he has an awsome summer coat, but I am always dreading his LONG winter coat. He's owned by Carol, my old riding teacher. He lives at Hilltop Stables, with all his buddies: Scottie, Axel, Lavendel, Milly, Dancer, Dutchess, Abby and Peregrina.

Justa is a "mud-a-holic" and a big eater! He loves to roll (you know what they say: "Horses roll to test our ability to get them clean, without getting them wet!") He would eat just about anything from his new "Equine Senior" to a doormat! I'm telling you the truth, he ate a doormat, as well as many other things!

Last November, my best friend Erin Shaw and I held "The First Hilltop Stables Gymkhana". We only had two teams entered, but a great time was had by all! Erin and I, on Justa and Scottie, came second, by only one point, to Erin's mother, Ruth and Louise, the barn owner, on Dancer and Milly. We all had fun, even though we had an unexspected snow fall the night before and had to pack up and move indoors!

He is a former show jumper. He was and maybe still is an amazing jumper, winning numerous prizes with Carol aboard. He did the occasional Dressage show, never missing the Hilltop Stables Dressage Show, even while retired he took the place of his buddy Abby while she was lame and won two thirds!
