Angel
After a few episodes we finally find out that Angels a vampire.We
don't learn this till he and Buffy admit their feelings and experience
their first kiss.This leads Buffy to think that Angels setting her
up for a fall especially when she finds him with her mother in his
arms with bite marks on her neck.Buffy finds out Angel was sired
(human turned into a vampire)by Darla 240 years ago.80 years ago
he tortured and killed a Romany woman:whose clan put a curse on him
to restore his soul.He became a vampire witha conscience a unique
person among the undead.Darla's attempts to bring Angel back to the
Master's lair fail when she winds up on a stake wielded by Angel.
