The    Annointed    One

The Annointed One was at one time a little boy named Collin and was later to be the Master's number one weapon against the Slayer.He was turned into The Annointed One by a prophecy that stated that the Bretheren of Aurelius would kill five people and from their ashes the Annointed One would rise. He first appears in "Never Kill A Boy On The First Date". He keeps his angelic child-like appearance and is seen holding hands with the Master and later with Buffy but he is there to rid the Master of the Slayer. The Annointed One kept the Master in focus at his time of grief due to the passing of Darla by telling him that she was "weak". He never physically harms Buffy but leads her to the Master in "Prophecy Girl" he also attempted to ressurect the Master but when that failed he led the family that the Master led. He was the leader up until Spike and Drusilla came into town and took over. Spike killed The Annointed One by shoving him in a cage and exposing him to direct sunlight.
