Anya

Anya is first shown when she acts like a new student at Sunnydale and hangs out with Cordelia. She is actually a demon that gets scorned women revenge against men. She helps Cordelia by granting her wish that Buffy never came to Sunnydale. But the dreamworld that Anya creates for Cordelia comes to a hault and Anya loses her powers. She makes Willow help her at one time but it fails. Anya starts to fall in love with Xander. She learns that the Mayor is planning on doing an Ascension and tells the group about what happened and what to do. She wants to leave Sunnydale as soon as she can. She leaves but later returns to ask Xander to please come with her. She stays and in the fourth season she becomes romantically involved with Xander. They sleep with each other and start to date. Anya has become one of the Slayerettes helping them with their battles. Anya was recently hired by Giles to work in the magic shop he now owns. Anya is played by Emma Caulfield.
