The most popular girl in school Cordelia is attractive,snobby,self-
centered,fashion-conscious,head cheerleader,,was elected May Queen,
and is followed around by a group of admirers.She was born and
raised in Sunnydale.Her mother has Epstein-Barr syndrome.
She is currently going out with Xander Harrison after a long line
of former loser boyfriends.She hung out with Buffy when she first
met her thinking since she was from L.A. she was cool.Buffy then
later tried to stake her accidentally at the Bronze and started
hanging out with Willow and Xander leading Cordelia to think Buffy
and the slayerettes were the lamest of the lame.She later found
out about vampires when she saw Buffy slay the Master.She has found
herself hanging out with them more and more often.When her
relationship with Xander became public her band of followers
dissed her and left.She later broke up with him to appease them.
She then considered them sheep who wanted her cool to rub off on
them,so she got back with Xander. Cordelia went out with Xander until she caught him and Willow kissing. She tried to get back at him by using the demon for scorned women Anya. Anya sent her to a Sunnydale that had no Buffy in it. Everyone was a vampire and Cordelia died. This dream made Anya lose her powers. Cordelia came back to real life and fell in love with Buffy's new watcher. She hid from everyone that her father was cheating on his taxes all his life and was found and they had no money. Cordelia left the show after graduation and went to the show Angel. She now works for Angel as a secretary and has her own haunted(in a good way) apartment. She receives intense visions of bad happenings going on in L.A. Cordelia is played by Charisma
Carpenter.
