The Sunnydale High swim team is the darling of the school,thanks to
its actually several winning meets,putting it one up on the other
school's teams.This extends to Principal Snyder who encourages
Willow to a give an F student an A and won't see Buffy's side of the
story when she attacks a swimmer when he tries to grope her.To make
matters worse two of the best swimmers turn up dead when they were
skinned by something.Suspicion initially falls upon Jonathon,a boy who
is often tormented by the team,but all he did was pee in the pool.
When Gage the third best swimmer is attacked by Angel-who proceeds to
spit out his blood as if it were battery acid-they suspect steroid
enhancement.When Gage transforms into a gill monster,leaving his skin
behind,the Slayerettes realize that none of them died,and that it was
more than steroids.Xander then goes undercover joining the swim team
to get to the bottom of it.In the end the newly formed fish men eat
their coach and swim out to sea.
