At the school trip to the zoo there is Buffy and the group and the
4 biggest troublemakers-Kyle,Rhonda,Tor,Heidi-and Lance the object
of their criticism.The quartet leads Lance into the closed Hyena
exhibit.Xander follows them to keep them out of trouble.All of them
except Lance are inhibited by the predatory spirit of the hyena.
Xander starts hanging out with the quartet and acts very un-Xander
like.The five of them devour Herbert the school's new pig mascot.
When Principal Flutie calls the quartet to his office they eat him
alive too.Giles looks up "Primals" animal worshippers who can draw
the spirit of the animal into themselves.Buffy and Giles look to
the keeper of the Hyena house who turns out to be a primal and
he draws the hyena spirit out of the students and into him.Buffy
then tosses him to the real hyenas.
