Willow Rosenburg was born and raised in Sunnydale the daughter of
Ira Rosenburg and his wife in a Jewish household.She is best friends
with Buffy Summers and Xander Harrison.She is somewhat naive when she
was young she thought playing doctor was reading real medical texts
and trying them out on Xander.Willow's computer skills are
prestigious.During career week she was one of 2 people interviewed
by a computer software company and she was chosen to sub for Jenny
Calendar after her untimely death.Willow and Buffy became friends
as soon as they met.Buffy told her to seize the day which led to
Willow meeting a vampire at the local club the Bronze.Willow also
helped Buffy find the Master's lair by tracking him down with the
city records.Willow has loved Xander for a long time they dated
when they were 5 but broke it off when he stole her Barbie doll.
She once went out with a boy online named Malcolm who turned out to
be the demon Moloch.She met up with Oz at the Career Fair after he
later saved her life they started dating.After Jenny's death Willow
started looking up Jenny 's technopagan stuff and the occult on
the internet.Willow found the translastion of the spell to restore
Angel's soul and performed after an attack by Angel's minions. Willow has since been dabbling in the occult and at one time was caught by her mother and was persecuted by a brainwashed town and almost burned at the stake. Willow has been dating Oz up until the Initiative episode when she caught him with another werewolf. Willow is in college and is roomates with Buffy since Buffy killed her roomate. Willow has survived a vampire bite from a powerless Spike. Willow has come out of the closet and is lesbian lovers with Tara. Willow is played by Alyson Hannigan.
